Can anyone tell me if the following is possible using uBot?

1) read a csv file and use the username/password to login to a website.
2) once in, scrape areas of the page.
3) Using the scraped data, insert it into some kind of uBot template and output a PDF.
4) Create and send a email with the pdf attached.
5) write/delete to the csv file to show record as completed.
6) go back to #1 and start again until all records in the csv have been marked as completed

Anyone know if its possible?

And just to add another question ... can uBot automate programs on my desktop? for example if i wanted to make ubot open MS Word, insert some text and save the file? is this possible? or does uBot just work on web sites?

I've personally done everything on that list with the one exception of outputting a PDF. I'm sure it is possible, but you'd need another piece of software to write the PDF. I typically output to an HTML file which is easier to create.

This is a somewhat advanced bot, though. You're going to need to be comfortable working in ubot before you'll be able to make something of this magnitude. If you're already a developer, it shouldn't take long. If you don't know programming, though, you might find the learning curve to be a bit steep before you get to this point. Just my two cents.

Haha, I was just kidding. Actually, I have had a keen interest in this thread because there is not a lot of information on what ubot is actually capable of. I've managed to make the software do some incredible things and it is a personal pet peeve when people belittle ubot's abilities.

Ubot does have some limits, but there are ways to work around most of them. Often it is the limits of the developer which create the negative comments that I've seen surrounding this software.

My personal claim to fame is that I built a bot which scrapes reviews from an almost unlimited number of sites and then writes them together in an organized fashion for multi-location companies. It is a powerful report which I'm using in my reputation management business. It would not have been possible without ubot driving the scraping.

I'm going to be completely honest and I don't mean to offend the developer, but the monthly subscription is a real negative for me. I honestly think ubot's software fits my needs and user-ability better than zenno, but I'm leaning towards zenno mainly because of the monthly subscribe fee and price. I do appreciate you dropping it down to 9 bucks for BHW, but I'll never been a monthly subscription type of guy. I just don't like em. Heck, I was almost to the point of just biting the bullet and getting it anyway because I really do think it fits my needs better, but I just can't...

Is there any chance the monthly subscription fee will go to yearly or be included in the initial price in the future?

Remember, when you purchase today, you won't need to sign up for any subscriptions and your software will work forever. Also, the subscription can be canceled and re-started at any point. And you'll get all the updates you missed.

However, we are planning on offering a discounted six-month or yearly rate soon. It should be available by the time your free updates run out.

if i buy with the BHW discount and decide to not continue the update period for $9/month after the three free months and then later i decide to use the update, do i still have to pay only $9 per month or do i then have to pay $29 per month just like users without BHW discount have to pay?

The only downside I see in uBot is the forums. You can only post 1 once PER DAY for your first 50 posts. Getting stuck in certain parts during bot creation is one problem but having to wait for another day despite having people reply to your thread is another problem.

yeah I found that too but other member say to me that you can request to remove restriction on ubot support the only thing I hate is UBOT Link in the compile .EXE :| I already sell 2 bots but they have link :| and much better if we can set short cut key on list on some commands like on "click" we can set that Control+Shift+Click and it will appear to the drag content it will be time saver... and it will appear where you click the mouse like if you click the mouse on the second box command when you press Control+shift+key that we set and it will appear on that area. I prefer to set it base on our likeness and need.. like on wait I always use that command instead of dragging multiple "wait command" we can set Shortcut key on our NEeds

Nah, I just bought ubot today and they confirmed my account within the hour and I can now post as many times as I like..

If you purchase, you can post as many times in the forum as you want. And if you buy Developer, there is an option to have the UBot Studio branding link is removed.
