Hey guys - have asked this on the ubot forums but I will probably get answers from here faster, so here goes:

Has anyone used the 'send email' option to send mail via Gmail successfully - if you have, how did you get the TLS sorted?

I tried to do the same going through the navigate to webpage and fill in the fields in Gmail via the web.

Any text I enterered did not have capital letters and the @ sign came out as a '

Checked their forums and tried all the answers there but still no go.

For example, if I want to enter the text '[email protected]' into the To field, it comes out as me'here.com

The subject line is something like: 'Hello how are you?' but it comes out as 'hello how are you/'

    Any help appreciated.

^^ That should help you. :)

PS: What is the Keyboard Layout you are using? Is it the standard Amercian Keyboard or are you using a European one?

Cheers Lord B - in the end I used the 'Change Chosen Attribute' and it worked the second time, so probably a typo to start with!

At last I have my first Gmail Bot that will log into an account via proxy, read a load of emails in from a list, read a message in from file and then send it one by one giving me a better inbox hit rate than using PHP / Perl scripts I have in the past.

Its a simple bot but by god does it feel good to get the first one under my belt!

    Woohoo - onwards and upwards.
