I know the owner is also member here...and he have a sales thread...but I dont fuckin' care. This tool it's bugged as hell, crazy how it takes 20 minutes to make a bot and then spend another 5 hours on finding alternatives because some commands are not working properly. I already accustomed with all the non-reason crashes but now it's just too much for me...dont buy this crap guys.

Did you tell the owner his software was bugged?

Or does he know and just not care?

Are you using the latest version OP?
Seriously, every time I am about to buy uBot somebody posts one of these threads.
Been looking at the Developer Edition for the past 2 weeks and I have been close to buying it, but for $1000 I want a solution that works.
Suppose I will have to wait again for the next version. Such a shame as I love the idea.

Ahahah, sorry man. And yeah, I have the latest version.
If you want, ask some customers (which are using it, not just bought&forget) about how many bugs they have.

There are a lot of reports on the forum.
If he care? Hard to say...yes, there are some minor updates times to times.

And to the other guys: Yeah, I guess I have to buy Zenno but it's kinda frustrating because I have to learn how to code on zenno too

Better frustrated then straight screwed. It's easy to learn and the support is very responsive. You'll usually get answer within a day.

What the fuck are you talking about? For how long are you using ubot? I see how PRO you are based on the number of tickets you have opened.
Don't try to be smart, I'm doing this shit for over 4 years. [IMG]

I've owned developer edition for a while now. I've got several tools I sell privately out there with no issues and also many private
tools that I only use for myself all again without issues.

I also am co-owner of the Ex-Browser plugin for Ubot Studio and most of the time any issues I see or hear about are all user error
in their coding or misunderstanding of how to properly use Ubot Studio.

I'm not trying to sell anyone but any time I have ever had questions on why something isn't working right in my code I've always got
a very helpful reply from the guys in our private skype group...let alone when I open a ticket.

I started out paying programmers. It's expensive guys. Anyone telling you that paying a coder is cheaper than buying Ubot is clueless
about outsourcing. You can hire guys who'll take on jobs for cheap but you get exactly what you pay for. Nightmares and headaches and
buggy code with little to no support...and that's IF you can even communicate with them as they're not native English speakers and their
timezones are all over the map.

I also own ZennoPoster. I left Zenno because their program is designed to force you to pay for the feature of selling your bots and man is
it expensive. Not only that but the support isn't good on the English side that I've found and I just hate not being able to run stand alone bots
free or paid on all my machines without coughing up money per instance.

Anyone who's interested in Ubot shouldn't listen to these one off complain posts that blanket Ubot as a bad program because it's not. I communicate
with all the top coders in Ubot daily and no one is complaining. When there are issues or things that come up it's almost always at the fault of the end
    user and NOT Ubot Studio.

    Just my 2 cents.

Why don't you hire me to create Java bot for you, it could cheap like $20-30 for a not too complicated bot. And you get the supporting from me maybe up to 6 months later.

I agree. I've had ubot dev ever since it was released and don't regret anything. Of course there are bugs, it depends a lot on what site you are trying to automate but theres usually a way around it most of the time.

Good luck trying to find any other automation tool that can do what ubot can. Sure there is zenno, but can you compile the bots to use on any machine/re-sell?

I just spent several weeks trying to work out a bug with Seth on my Developer Edition.

For me, Ubot has been so buggy I haven't been able to use a single bot I've built since I bought the damn thing.

The answer from Seth ended up basically being "your bot is too complicated". And it's only a 400 line bot. He offered to help me find the root cause, but not for free.

Most of the issues stem from Chrome 39 being implemented in the latest version. It's simply not working.

I still feel Ubot is a good piece of software to own, but I would wait until they fucking fix Chrome 39.

Meanwhile I have moved to coding my bots in C# in Visual Studio Community edition and they work great. In a way I'm happy that Ubot is so buggy. It made me frustrated enough to code my bots myself and quit being lazy haha.

    Hi Bigtroll

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with UBot Studio. I'd love to get a dialog going and see if we can find some of these issues that you're running into.

I've been working on UBot Studio for a good 6 1/2 years now, and I have to say, it's a pretty big cross to bear. When you consider how big and messy the web is, with poorly coded websites, lack of standards, and specific bot prevention stuff, it's not surprising that people run into problems when using a program that automates every website.

Still, I'm proud to say that UBot Studio works solidly for about 98% of the people who use it. The reason why? Because we have a strong track record of fixing stuff for the remaining 2%. We have a very effective bug reporting system, and year after year, we keep fine tuning to every fringe use case that we can solidly reproduce an issue for.

From time to time, we do get people who just say things like "UBot sucks its so buggy", and I realize that kind of stuff just comes with the territory of being the top software in our field. But we know that at the heart of it, it can be frustrating when things don't work the way you expect them to.

So why don't we talk somewhere and see if we can figure out what's making things not work well for you?

Same here man. Chrome21 was pretty decent, but now they are just focusing on this chrome39 which is a piece of shit on my opinion.

@SethTurin: Your reply it's exactly the reason for why I did not contacted you. "UBot Studio works solidly for about 98% of the people who use it" lol, sorry man but I dont give a shit about other people, I would he happy if ubot would work just for me and for the 99.999% of the users not.
I dont really have what to report, with even the most basic things are not working:
    - image recognito: it's just stuck the browser.
    - type text from table, column 2: ubot is writting column 3 [IMG][IMG]

CNotey - I know you're a stand up guy. Let's be clear about this because I was part of the conversation (as part of the UBot staff). What Seth offered was to help you find the bug in your code. Our support guy (and myself) literally spent 5 hours looking through your code already, as part of your support subscription. The bug is not in UBot Studio, it's in your code. We put a lot of effort into helping, and did what we could. There are plenty of resources on how to write code without bugs, but our support team can't afford to spend hours debugging user code. We did offer to help, and spent many hours working on it, and that's more than most companies would do.

BigTroll - Your second point - please make sure to understand the commands. Columns are zero based - first column is 0, second column is 1, third column is 2.

    http://www.screencast.com/t/IN9BdoWnE

Your first point - Our support staff just put image recognition through the ringer, and it worked fine for several images, but after a certain point there was a hanging issue. Because we reproduced this image recognition bug, and entered it into the tracker, you can expect a fix in the next release. In the future, please come to us with an issue so we can implement a fix.

We realize that these issues can be frustrating, but most of the issues mentioned in this thread could have been avoided by reading our education resources. And to be clear, Chrome 21 is still entirely usable in the most recent version. You don't have to use 39, and if it's not working how you like, then we recommend using 21. A lot changed with Chrome between 21 and 39, and it's not surprising that it works a little differently.
