https://ubersuggest.io/, keyword suggestion tool is owned now by Neil Patel. Probably this free tool will become paid. I think this guy is rich now. I know that he also own kissmetric.
This is great to build a dream with IM.

This is TERRIBLE NEWS!! I can't believe this shit. But isn't it surprising that the Patel guy can't build a tool like US on his own? Not code by himself but hire someone to do that. If he did buy US, it's going to be paid in the near future.

It is not about coding another tool. why did facebook buy whatsapp ?? Or Microsoft bought skype? Can't they just code themselves one?

he is an investor and entrepreneur, that's why he invested in that free tool, I think next step will be making a course about it, and after will make it paid,

I get your point. As far as I can see Patel guy is a snake oil salesman and UberSuggest is a free tool - a combination that snake oil salesmen have little use with. He can code something and project it as the next magical, mystical thing in the world and push it for a couple of hundred bucks each month. If he buy a free tool and make it premium, I can't see him adding this value. Of course, I could be missing something here.
There was a guy on WarriorForum - some Glenn - I don't remember his name. He had this magical article spinner that no one else can even 'think of' but his brilliant tool failed on BHW whenever he tried to push it under multiple noob IDs he created. But on WF, he was a genius. But in any of these cases, including Kiss Metrics, the 'USP' is how unique it is behind the scenes and the AI stuff they discovered with a NASA scientist in-charge of alien communications.

Can't see him getting the same push here.

I think we'll keep on the watch to how he proceed. There is definitely a business objective here. I see on Semrush that ubersuggest is getting 4.6 k visitors. So he can add some tools and make it a freemium, or he keep it completely free and use the traffic to convert another paid product on the site. What do you think is his business objective in acquiring this tool?

They'll have to add a lot of good features to make people pay. Keywords are very easy to generate from the Google complete API. There's tons of tools already that will give you unlimited keyword suggestions (supa growths keyword feast for one). They'll have to really great something amazing....

From his point of view it's a shrewd move.

You'd all do exactly the same.

The digital sector is no different, it will be subject to M&A (mergers and acquisitions) - I think this will pick up more and more since there are tons of digital tools that have built in interactive audiences.
Patel is going to try to be the Warren Buffet (Value-Investor) of the digital marketing arena...

The first step is to improve how it works. It's crap.

Lots of free keyword suggestion tools so why would somebody pay.

I 've been surprised with a tool which provided SEO analyses, the front end of that tool was fantastic, but the backend was total crap, every time I see different results, with the same website...
