Typing my keyword shows Amazon and other big giant ecommerce sites on Google.

Do I really need to give up on this keyword? If I create a big giant quality BPN, it will still fail?

People suggests me that I should just go for long tail keywords which I agree but I would like to know if I can rule over those giant ecommerce sites.

    Let me know your suggestions/feedback!

No one can give you a definite answer. Is it possible? Yes? Will it take time and effort? Yes. Since you still seem to be the keyword-phase (which is so important to get right), I would recommend you chat to Ardley and have a look at his thread here. He can tell you how difficult the actual keywords are and give you some easier one to get you going. Hope that helps.

May be put up your product on Amazon and SEO it?

Or use hi Authority Parasite to compete with them.

YT videos and Wordpress Work pretty fantastic!

You'll never find the answers until you give it a try. You will try and then you may fail, but you will learn something from failure. Then keep going on next campaign until you get success.

You can test and see what happens. If you are just starting out, I would suggest selecting a keyword with less competition.

Impossible. Don't waste your resources (money) unless you've got resources to spare. Use your cash to fund something that has some chance of working. There are special rules for commerce terms I don't think you'll ever crack it.

Just because an authority domain is ranking is not a signal of keyword competitiveness. There are several metrics to consider.

Go after the keyword but make sure you compile a list of long tail keywords that you can target alongside your main keyword and get traffic from while working towards beating those authority sites. It will take a while before you can outrank them.

How are the metrics on their ranking pages? Because I have tons of e-commerce keywords all dominated by ebay, amazon and aliexpress but these pages don't have any backlinks at all. That should make it possible, right?

This is irrelevant, they don't need any. This is how e-commerce terms work. These sites are just fixated in these positions. I would never try setting up an affiliate store now there's just next-to-no way.

Ofc they want commerce sites to buy ads. As a brand that'd probably be profitable but as an affiliate your commission isn't high enough to cover the cost.
