    Agh.

One for 19.99 and the other for 21.98.

I called Godaddy as soon as I saw it today and they said they did not charge anything. There is not a thing on their record. I checked my account and do not see anything that I ordered.

Yet, Paypal shows I got charged those two accounts. What the hell?!

    Anyone have any idea?

Check again with Godaddy- they have some type of auto renewing system for hosting and domain renewals-

I'm not sure exactly- look around in your godaddy account and see if anything was renewed.

They did this with me and a few domains I wanted to drop.. I had to call and they refunded me.

Don't know. But suggest you tighten up your PP account as suggested above and then go in to your Go Daddy account to see what products (hosting/domains) you have on automatic renewal. It's easy enough to alter. You will also see a history of your transactions there.

If and/or when you're confident that this is a fraudulent transaction then raise a dispute with PP.

Normally, I get emails from GoDaddy telling me about the renewals though, even if they are automatic.

    Yeah, I looked in there.

There is nothing. In case this is an automatic renewal that might not have shown up yet (since it is just one day since it happened), what should I say to them? You said you got it refunded?

    What did you say?

Your best bet is probably to email Godaddy instead of calling them, get them to tell you via email that they haven't charged you and then file a dispute saying it was an unauthorized transaction. Meanwhile, change your PP password.

    Thanks everyone,

    Hey zensiq,

Can you tell me what you said? I cannot find account info for another account but I think it might be in there.....

I seriously do not want to pay $40 bucks out of nowhere man.

    maybe you over looked something

do you have 2 domains registered with them?

maybe the whois privacy was renewed. godaddy uses a different company for that and it is set to automatically renew.

did you check your emails for a receipt for payment (including checking spam filter)?

    just a thought

You actually physically logged into Paypal to verify, correct? I've gotten a few phishing emails that said pretty much the same thing, but after I logged into PP from the official page there was nothing actually charged.

Yeah, I've gotten the same emails in the past. Hopefully the OP isn't basing it solely on that.

    Definitely file a dispute asap
