Two sites targetting same keywords

Is there any problem with this?


I have two sites targeting two keywords, with very similar themes.


But I have unique content optimized for the keywords. But targetting same keywords with two sites.. Both sites hosted on same offshore host..

Any problem with this? Or no problem targetting same keywords with 2 sites

Trying to get both on pg 1 :)

I think it'll be fine. I haven't done that myself but I do have a bunch of sites on one host ranking for a few keywords albiet not at #1, yet. It shouldn't be a problem if they have different unique content, code, and backlinks. I think of it like ranking web 2.0s in the same keyword/niche.
 
I'm scared that the backlinks will be too closely related because i'm using the same services + methods for ranking


also code is very similar because it's same theme/plugins/etc basically an exact replica with variation in content and same keywords.
 
Make slight changes in both sites or else it might harm your sites.
 
Of course there is no problem to have two websites for one and the same keywords. If websites have unique content, design etc
 
btw it's not a bad idea to get privacy protect for the domain whois.

The website has different content but same design with variation in footer and categories.

My 2nd site has started to rank for some keywords so maybe it'll be ok...
 
I have 3 sites all after thesame keyword so no problem there. I would use different design for each site though.
