Two different languages on the same channel ?

it is better to use one language and auto translate option for multi language

I agree. Mixing two languages can make it harder to target the right audience. Separate channels may be better if both languages have different audiences.

Do YouTube's automatically translated subtitles sometimes lack accuracy or naturalness, does that affect the viewing experience of foreign viewers?

It’s true that splitting into two separate channels helps optimize recommendations for each specific audience segment, but it takes too much time and effort

I would go for two different channels. You can use suffixes like _en or _fr or the like, and you will get your content much more targeted. Even if yt does content translation nowadays, I don't think it's something that's working well (primarily pissing off bilingual people, and just annoying the rest with unauthentic content), and you never know the direction Google might take on this regard in the future, so you might be building a multilingual channel that works not but won't work next year.

I would suggest creating two different channels. Your viewers subscribed for content, not a surprise Duolingo session

two different channel would be better for you. if you uploads two different languages video in same channel, that will decrease your audiences. for that reason try to use two channels for uploading two different languages video. it will help you to build your channels specific identity.

Thank you for your very practical and thought-provoking perspective. The reasons regarding the erratic changes and unnatural experience for bilingual viewers are truly very convincing.

yeah i agree using two languages on one channel can confuse the audience if the viewers are different for each language it may be better to keep them on separate channels

Combining two languages in the same video can be difficult for YouTube's audience distribution because nowadays, if you use a different language, they all have online translation tools and subtitles. Therefore, using two languages simultaneously often makes it difficult to reach your target audience.
