So i started with twitter yesterday, started following 900 people and got almost 200 following me. Posted some links and liked the traffic. Then today i log in and see that i'm suspended. Thankfully after sending an email to suppor, they unbanned me.

What's a good way to stay under the radar and not get banned? I have to get more followers!

spread it to multiple accounts for starters :) will look less suspicious. I think you can get suspended quite easily. I used mass twitter and had some problems so i made stuff multiple times and got " suspended for weird actions "

100 per day may be too many. Just spread them out over the whole day.

Following is the reason of being suspended from twitter.com:

One or more of these things may cause an account to be flagged for review:

a large number of people block the profile in question

a large number of people write in with spam complaints for a specific profile

a large number of people are followed in a short amount of time
the number of followers is small compared to number of people following
updates consist of duplicate links and/or text
updates consist mainly of links and not personal updates
updates consist solely of "re-tweets" (poaching other users' updates)
updates consist of links pointing to phishing sites, malware, or other harmful material
a large number of accounts is created in a short amount of time
an account is identified as belonging to a group of spam accounts

If one or more the items listed above is true for any Twitter profile, we may suspend the account for abuse investigation and hide the contents from the public view in order to remove the cause of complaint.

It's important to us that the Twitter community receives only the content they'd like to receive. While we do welcome feed-based accounts, we discourage aggressive following and other tactics that will alarm people. If you think you've been wrongly suspended, please send an email to support@twitter.com with the account name and reason why the account shouldn't be suspended.

I have sent you an PM about my tool yesterday. :)

    Sincerely,

    Lively Browser

It seems that once an account has more then 200 followers, then your account will much less likely to be suspended. However, I am not good at marketing. So I don't need this account. I think it would be helpful for those good internet marketers. :)
