I was wondering if I made a mistake to buy a verified bage for one of my x account that's not up to 10k followers but x is bringing a verified bage for it. Please I need anybody opinion and suggestions

I don't think it's a mistake. Keep it and see if it actually helps the account. Just don’t expect the badge by itself to suddenly increase your growth.

For me it was the same, didnt noticed the increase they try to sell on impressions for my posts. Seems like a scam in this case, but the Inspiration tool is quite nice to see latest viral posts on X and that helps me to curate and create content for my networks.

I don't think you necessarily made a mistake. X seems to consider different eligibility factors not just follower count. I'd check what benefits the badge gives your account & whether those benefits are actually useful for you

Probably it's a case of buy one, get one for free. I wouldn't say it's waste. Look at the what those badges are adding to your page and move from there
