I gave up on Twitter because it became such a hassle due to one major problem: all of my affiliate links (redirected through shorteners like bit.ly) would get a twitter possible spam 'url warning page'. Do you know what I mean?

Is there a clever way around this?

bit.ly has cool analytics so if you want to stay with it you can shorten the link to a certain page of your website (you can always get a free blogger account) and redirect the page to your affiliate link

Don't advertise the CPA offer directly in Twitter... put your offer in your website and then advertise your website.

Thanks for your advice, folks. I'll give Twitter another bash.

So the thinking seems to be linking to a website (it was silly of me not to pick up on the fact that I was being flagged due to the cpa site I was using) and monkey around with bit.ly or try qr.net.

I think linking directing to a cpa lander was my error.

    Thank you! :)

The Twitterbots follow the links through all of the redirects and sees where the link ends up at.

The CPA offers that you are promoting could be banned from Twitter.

Anything Clickbank related will result in an instant suspension. Try setting up a redirect page on your website that goes to a Clickbank product. Shorten the link to your page using any URL shortener. Log into Twitter using a Twitter Account that you don't care that gets suspended. Tweet a message with that link. Refresh page and you will see the "This Account has been suspended" message.

I miss the days when the internet wasn't so smart. You could throw up some profiles on Myspace and make $10K a month . . . on the same IP!! haha

In any case . . . thank you, guys. I'll devote time today to create some landers on my own server. Give twitting another bash!
