I've noticed in the latest Twitter design, that some tweets are written in large font, whilst others are written in standard size font.

The tweets that are written in larger fonts seem to always be tweets that have had a lot of replies, retweets and favourites, so wondering if this is Twitter's way of showing which have performed the best to perhaps gain you the most followers?

Can you give an example of a tweet with a "larger font"?

If you see this on the mobile version of Twitter then you see a bug.
Twitter haven't fixed it yet even though the bug have been around a while.

I'm seeing it on all platforms.

I actually logged into Twitter in one of my accounts (after posting this thread) and it must be an update that Twitter are rolling out, as it said the bigger fonts stand out as they've had more interaction from your followers.

So tweets that have had more people retweeting, faving and replying to are seen as more popular, and therefore are shown in a larger font.

yep indeed look at the amount of replies, retweets and favs that one has over the other one.

Check it in Firefox - not Explorer.

You don't need to be logged in, just using Firefox and viewing a Twitter account. If I try using IE they're all the same size.
