Twitter: Old Account Owner Still Has Access Through Phone

I have a twitter account that I purchased from someone else, and I changed all the info (name, email,password) but now I'm worried that they can still access it from their phone if they never signed out. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Goto your setting while on desktop for twitter

Then click on APPS

and delete the app that allows the phone to connect, and reset the password and make sure that 2step verification is NOT setup

And maybe setup 2step with a # you own

After I delete the iphone app and switch the password, can i then add the app again?

Yes, as long as you changed the password.. he'll be asked to input the new pw which he doesn't have

Be sure to setup 2 step verification with your own phone number. Twitter will text you a verification code every time someone tries to sign in. It gives you an extra layer of security.
