I noticed that everything except YOUR links are ******** on twitter...

I also noticed that if you use a third-party app to tweet, it says the tweets name a sends you to the page to get it...

So why don't we (I say we because I will help even though my programming is ass) make a very lightweight twitter app that lets the user define it's name and homepage link?? Like, it'd only support tweeting. You'd need to use something else to keep up, and manually write your replies and stuff... And I'm just saying bare essentials - making it at least worth it to try.

That is, IF it is indeed the apps themselves defining their title and link, and not some arrangements with twitter behind the scenes before it works etc...

If the app defines it, we should make a one with universal announcement, and I would do it right now if I could code well enough, so by all means, discuss, if this is indeed possible, and I suppose maybe just toss me a copy to play with if something gets built for the idea, and I'll help as best I can. :)

So is it possible? Does anyone know if it is client side for "about 19 hours ago from TweetDeck", or is it more complicated?

EVEN BETTER: Can we fackin' hook tweetdeck or something to announce our own desired links and anchors????

Excellent - I haven't taken a look, but we can indeed do this then? It's like the only place you can get a ******** on twitter, and every tweet is a new one, right? or does it not count from the same page?

Im not 100% sure but i thought you needed a developer key to do this. Otherwise it would just say "Web" underneath. I could be wrong. I do know however that you need to use oauth not basic authentication for it to work.
