Twitter Help Please!!!

Alright guys, I just started using twitter today, and i'm not exactly sure what i'm doing...

People get traffic from this site?? Do I have to update every hour or two??.. Is it like Myspace??

Could someone please explain (in detail a little), exactly what Twitter does..?! I'm a fuckin twitter noob, i'll admit it....

good luck getting traffic with twitter. i use it more for pr and to hear what people are saying about our company, products, campaigns, etc.

There is a LOT of people having GOOD LUCK with Twitter.... that's why I started this thread!!

use twitter to tweet about your daily life... tweet interesting finds... then slowly get pple to follow you... then use sites like twitterfeed.com to help you drive your RSS feeds to twitter.

A good resource is to use Google Reader to share watever blog posts you have inside your Google Reader.

You'll see that you will have a lot of pple following what you are twittering

get a lot of followers - usually entails you following people back but there are other ways.

pop your website link in your profile. and as ^^^ says add your feed (if you have one) to twitterfeed.

and if you want to really go crazy send a tweet out with a link back to your site every now and then.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service, that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.

Twitter had by one measure over 3 million accounts and by another, well over 5 million visitors in September 2008 which was a fivefold increase in a month.

Twitter is apparently one of the fastest growing social media outlets that is continuing to grow. Assuming you have the right audience and enough followers, your sure to make some serious cash from it.

Yes. Expecially since pownce.com which was considered as a competer with twitter.com has been closed on 15th this month. Then many people on pownce have moved to twitter now.
