I've seen different threads on follow limits on twitter. I know that it depends on how aged the account is, follower ratio, etc etc.

I wanted to ask someone that has a large number of followers this question. For an account that is about 6 months old with about 50,000 followers and no spam links on it. There are real tweets on it. I tweet daily. I use tweet adder and I am currently following 950 people a day. I get about 200 new followers per day.

Also, I unfollow 750 per day. I have it set to unfollow anyone that hasn't followed back after 3 days.

So basically my question is, would it be safe for me to increase the number of people i'm following and unfollowing? I'd love to increase the number of new followers by a couple hundred if possible.

I would say, don't risk it.
You're already working well, there's no point by changing things around and possibly getting banned for doing so. That's 50,000 followers down the drain if you do.

Just keep going at the pace you are.
