it's not twittad, they pay if one of their advertisers hire you to place an ad on your twitter profile background for different time frames based on the number of your followers

i think you meant revtwt or be-a-magpie
revtwt has 2 kind of ads:
CPC: you get paid for each valid click
CPT: you get paid for each ad you post based on the number of followers you have

@tygrus: don't forget that not all of those clicks are from real people, i can't give you an exact number, but the amount of bot clicks are pretty high on twitter, but yea, the conversion rate seems to be very low by all means

so if you can't succeed with the CPA venture on twitter, maybe you should try CPC, i'd say you can make around $30/day (rough estimate) with this following base what you have now, especially if your followers are in the clicking mood and not in the take more action mood :)

twittad is not really an option, i guess you have quite a few accounts, it would be nice if you would have the 90.000 followers in one account

Yes that is what i was talking about...revtwt..my mistake..at least you'll maybe make XXX per day if the whole cpa twitter thing doesnt work out

don't spam too much there. Build trust with your followers.

Best advice given right there.

I built a list of just 1700+/- followers by hand, tweeted with at least 2/3 of them for some reason or another, offered genuine/interesting shares (links, pics, jokes, etc...), then about 4 months into it, hit them up with BIG ticket items. $25k in the next 3 months.

Trust works. Reason I know, immediately following this success I purchased an account with 25k+ followers and barely made lunch money for a day. My SN had no trust with them.

You've got to be a man before you can be a salesman.

I've been there and done that! My new twitter method is so freaking awesome it's unreal. Only problem is the time to build up my accounts targeted followings (3 months per account). But then they should be bringing in 1k a week per account. It's all about trust and demographics in twitter....

I'd kill for that many followers. My twitter account has a whopping 2500+ followers

Brotato, it doesn't look like a billion followers of my type will complete a cpa offer. Sometimes quantity isn't all its cracked up to be.

yea I know but I could make some nice coin with followers like that. I am afraid of using programs to up my followers though plus I'm on a dial up connection for my online money making stuff.

You'd be far better having a few blogs on generic subjects and pointing the traffic to the sites. Then monetise the websites.

I was driving a lot of traffic straight to cpa's with twitter, waste of time, at least it was for me.

Either that, or I would make a free report in the weight loss niche, money making, health etc and make a landing page for each one.

Start ttrying to get your list on twitter into the relevant autoresponders.

Then try to convert on the autoresponder.

I find it easier to get sales from emails after they have had a few mails from me, rather than cold like twitter to cpa.

90,000 followers, today 671 clicks, 1 conversion for a $1.40 email submit.

Seriously, is there any hope here? Do I need half a million followers to make this work??

Wow that is really low.

This is probably because twiter is so saturated now! Maby you could increase conversions by making a landing page and "pre sell a bit more"

Dude, it needs to be a hungry targeted crowd. The Twitter account shouldn't be constantly sending spam. I had a very very bad experience with Twitter.
Yes, that is quality traffic since you are not constantly spamming. Go for it :D

Well I tried to get going with Revtwt only to find my accounts don't qualify. Poor follow to followers ratio. And Magpie is being sold off.

Are there any other networks that pay per click and aren't so anal about the twitter accounts?

I make around $50 when i tweet and i only have an account with around 30k followers.

Follow these steps and you should be fine.

Dont spam offers for the whole day.
Make real tweets so people think that your real.
Dont link it directly to the offer make a landing page that links to the offer this converts way better.

Ya man you need to make your account name and persona sound real. Like you are some kind of doctor or something. Then use subtlety to get them opted in

Another day, another complete twitter fail. 540 clicks, no conversions on free apple ipad email submit. Who the frack are these fools in my accounts!!! They don't do anything!!

alot of clicks are twitter spiders and other random crap.

i would be willing to bet you got around 5-15 clicks total.

good advice except for the landing page part. a landing page is good for higher priced conversions like re-bills etc. but not email/zip submits. if someone is trying to push cheap traffic to a cheap submit then clicking and going to the next page is def going to kill conversions

Yeah I would Just Split Test My tweets man and see how how that rocks

I use the Twitter search function. You can do this with 10 followers and still make money.

Ok, let's say you are promoting a product like a free Wii. You go to the Twitter search and do target searches for keywords that would relate.

For example, people looking for a free Wii are obviously into gaming, right?

So you would go to Twitter search and punch in searches like "video games", "gaming", "wii", "new game", etc.

It will return results of all tweets that have those keywords mentioned.

Then you just reply to those people with something like: "Hey, I see you like such & such. I just got a free Wii here", or something like that.

Not only can they see it, so can all of their followers, who are probably interested as well because they follow like minded people.

When you search, put the keyword term in quotes and then a trick is to put -http right after it. This will take away most of the Tweets with links in them. The reason for this is that most Tweets with links are other marketers and there is no sense targeting them.

If you have time, you can do this all day and make money.

Just don't tweet the same thing. You have to change up the tweets or you'll get flagged.

Better yet, you could hire a VA to do this for you. In fact, there was a video course a while back that talked about doing this with Clickbank and gettng a VA from the Philippines for $15 a day.

The reason why the OP's method didn't work that well is because it's probably not targeted towards people who actually might have been interested.

However, offering a freebie woulf work well. You got 600+ clicks. I wouldn't even send them to a squeeze page. I'd create a free report or use PLR and put a link inside to my squeeze page or affiliate links and then just send the Twitter traffic to a page to download the report for free. Just about everyone would probably download it.

Yep, as everyone's saying.. gotta have targeted followers on t for good %. I was on t for 6 months b/4 I realized that.... you'll get there!
