Twitter Background usefulness question

I am hand building a few hundred Twitter account and have a simple question. Does adding a custom background to you Twitter accounts have any effect on the amount of followers, the click through rate, or ban avoidability? I am building a complete system that includes much more than Twitter, and with the work involved, I want to ask if it has a noticable effect. I am already in the process of building blogs, autoresponders, gravatar, Twilah, content feeds, RT feeds, etc for every account so there is plenty of work to do, and if it has no large effect, I could do without the extra work. If it make a huge difference, then it will be worth it.
