Twitter algorithm discussion

What I and my friends have experienced that actively use twitter is this:

Even if we are not interested in politics, twitters algorithm tries super hard to push politics onto your fyp ect..

The politics that twitter pushes is based on where you identify in the political spectrum so either left or right.

Since all the social media are now copying TikTok's algorithm conceptually to increase user hours they are designing their algorithm in a positive feedback loop:
This means that if you support the left you will keep getting left politics on your page that you agree with, appealing to your confirmation bias.

Political accounts get huge engagements and reach now because of this which is both good and bad because twitter is polarizing political opinion driving people further apart but it's also very smart from a business perspective for both pages and the business itself.

Is there? Haven't seen much of anything related to politics since the US one and that was a while back. If there is a few on the feed, it's pretty few and far between. Of course, I only really have two accounts to base that off of so maybe you're on to something there.

This is not true. Elon Musk said he will open source it and you can figure it out anyways by just testing a lot.
