Specifically for managing multiple accounts, rotating mobile proxies. The type of IPs those give tend to be ideal for that sort of thing, especially along side automation tools. Should be just as effective for manual use on a single account, but personally I use it for multiples. As for followers, yeah Twitter checks that count too, but to what degree of importance as consideration, hard to say for sure if there's correlation or causation when it comes to growth.

At the risk of sounding like I'm promoting a service, I go for MountProxies. TBH, go for what works best with you as long as you get quality IPs, stable connection, good speed, IP rotation if you need it, and all that jazz.
