    Hello all,

I am currently running followliker on twitter, instagram, and pinterest and it has been going great.

However, earlier today my twitter account was locked--had to unlock it via my cellphone number.

All of these accounts are about ~2 months old.

I was using the following settings for my twitter account:

    Daily Follow: 75-135 / Delay: 65-118
    Unfollow: 65-125 / Delay: 75-123
    Favorite: 60-140 / Delay: 55-138
    Retweet: 5-15 / Delay: 1-2 per run

I also only ran the account from 6:00am-11:59pm with sundays off.

    Is this too aggressive?

Usually I experienced problems with a few blocks when the unfollowing was too aggressive.

try to make your accounts behave as a normal person. And usually a normal person doesn't unfollow as many people as it follows.

I think that the unfollowing setup is one of the way to gauge if an account is automated or not.

Have you already passed the initial 2 phone locks and 1 password reset? If you haven't yet, no matter what, you'll need to complete those before you can really use your account. Just keep following and when prompted, do the unlocks. When you completed all of them, Twitter will leave you alone.

No I haven't, this was the first time I've experienced anything like this.

So you think I should just keep plugging along as is, and when these happen they don't really mean anything?

    Thanks for the replies guys.

Yeah, I was thinking it was probably the unfollowing that was the issue. Maybe having my account only follow for one week and than unfollow the second week?

I am still a total noob to this so I'm not entirely sure what the hell I am doing.

Yes, there's no need to worry. Just keep doing what you're doing. This is normal for new accounts.

You were locked because it's a new account and you just started to follow with it. Keep doing the unlocks, there will be 2-3, after that you can use the account without being interrupted by Twitter.

Twitter is not really strict about unfollowing, i unfollow around 1k daily even with new accounts. It never caused any issues.

Btw tweeting can also lock new accounts.

Totally agree with HoneyBird, I unfollow thousands on new and old accts, never a problem for me.

I have also seen guys with huge acct unfollow +500K at 1sec delay (no randomness - basically as fast as possible) with chrome plugins... They tell me they do it all the time..

Yet, I constantly hear ppl advising or warning against aggressively unfollowing.

This is so interesting, I had no idea Twitter would just leave you alone after a certain point.

At this point would it be worthwhile to increase my settings then?

I have five proxies and am going to use them at 1:1, but at the moment I only have 1 account so I have not started using them yet.

The current general advice I have been following so far has been from this thread: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/my-followliker-twitter-settings.731843/

Hi. So are you saying that no matter how many accts you have on FL once you do this Twitter leaves you alone.

Unfortunately that's not been my experience...

Also I cannot confirm this, I get verification every now and then also after the first three times.

You don't need your account to unfollow straight after the first week. Let it grow for a few weeks and then run follow and unfollow simoulatneously.

You do not need your accounts to have a similar number of followers and following.

    Hi Everyone

OK so following this thread I ran a little experiment.

I set up a FL license on a separate computer and added 24 Twitter accounts. 2 accounts would be online for 2 hours each day (so for example midnight to 2am, then 2am to 4am).

Only following. No Tweeting and nothing else. No unfollowing either.

So the idea was 2 SMS unlocks then a password reset and then you'd be left alone

We then made a little spreadsheet to 'monitor' when they got SMS and Email unlocks. Here's what we found

Acct 1: has had 2 SMS unlocks and an email password reset

Acct 2: has had 2 SMS unlocks and an email password reset

Acct 3: has had 2 SMS unlocks and then a 3rd - no email password reset

Acct 4: has had 2 SMS unlocks and then a 3rd - no email password reset

Acct 5: has had 2 SMS unlocks and an email password reset

Acct 6: has one SMS unlock and is currently locked without the SMS arriving on the sim

Acct 7: Currently locked for the first time and the SMS is not arriving

Accts 8 - 24 all have variations of the above.

So... What can you make from that apart from a headache I have no idea... But that's basically it...

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Also more than happy to share the Twitter usernames in DM if people want to take a closer look. These are in an adult dating niche.

so you're saying that after the intial resets and phone verification, I can dump that number and use any number? What happens if my number changes in the future? My twitter is done for?

Well, if you only follow and don't do anything else, you won't be asked to verify your account again. However if you tweet too, that can also trigger re-verifications.

You can remove the phone number from the account after every verification (you can do the verifications from different numbers every time) or you need phone numbers what you'll have access to at any point.

I noticed that one of very aged Twitter, used to verify using sms but lately sms isnt an option to verify and i can only call to verify. This happens when im locked out of my account. So does that mean that i soon won't be able to even use call to verify my account because im verifying so much? Because i do tweet too. so maybe thats why im getting locked out.

Also if we don't removed the phone number after verification on Twitter and we lost that number, we can't get into the account if we don't have that number, correct?

Tweeting can cause account locks, yes.
The call verify is not specific to your account, it happens with my accounts as well and to others as well. It's mixed with SMS verify though, sometimes it's SMS, sometimes it's call verify. Honestly i don't know how many is too many of these verifications, but i only get 2 or 3 with every account, 1 password reset and that's it. I stopped tweeting, i post a pinned tweet to every account and that's it, after that i just follow, so no more re-verifcations are getting triggered.

And that is correct, if you lose access to the phone number which is attached to your account, that account is toast. So you either remove the number after every verification or you need numbers what you have access to at any point.
