I've seen a lot of channels just using clips from Twitch, making a montage and uploading it to YT. My question is, can they make money by monetization? I would like to get into this business, but don't know if I will be able to monetize and would I get in trouble for doing that, using other people content to post it on YT? I read a bunch of articles about it, most of them say that it's illegal and that you don't get any rights to use the content just because you provided a source to the original creator. Anyone can share a few tips if you're in this business?

I believe they can, but just be wary of the creators trying to take it down.

I know someone that had an account with over 76k subs posting twitch fails. Got flagged and taken down. Thats why most accounts arent monetizing their videos since its easily copyrighted.

The whole channel was down? That's what I'm afraid of. Work hard on these montages, get flagged, everything lost. I saw lots of these channels promoting random gaming stuff - CS:GO skins, discounts on chairs, gaming gear... Is it really that easy to get deleted?

You can monetize unless that content is uploaded on YT by an original creator. Also monetizing with other networks is also a good option but for that you need a good follower base otherwise they wont even consider replying to you.
