Hey guys! New to IM, but been reading and reading and reading and reading over the last month when I can, it's crazy how much there is to all of this, I still feel in over my head lol.

Basically, this is my guide that has me shooting for $20 a day. $50 would be optimal but that seems pretty damn tough, so I think $20 a day would be much much more realistic, a nice $600 a month, just enough to offset the tax costs per month that the government takes out of my paycheck

Once I feel 150% stable and comfortable if I can get up to $20, I'll really make time to crank up the heat

So far I don't feel that I've gotten much accomplished. I saw meathead's guide about using Google Alerts to promote your links, and I bought some hosting and a domain and kicked myself for the niche I chose moments later. I'm actually a natural bodybuilder (not the kind who strives to get huge, just very in shape and muscular) and I'm knowledgeable in that area so I chose a weight loss niche, forgetting meathead used it as an example. Common sense would have reminded me that a bunch of other people would use that too, but it was taking a break at that time. I made a review site promoting 3 different Clickbank offers and spread it as much as I could, but a low of other BHW's were in the same places I was, or links were getting deleted etc.

So now, I think I'd like to go ahead and try something else, I gave the last method and honest shot for awhile and didn't make a single dime lol. I still have hosting, domain was only $8 so I can get over that. I was thinking about possibly trying something with content locking, I see a few guys on here who have made half assed websites with half assed Content Lockers who make 20+ a day, typically in autopilot, so there must be something to it.

I will gladly purchase CLP v2 once I have established a bit of money with content locking and know it's something I can do, but until then I'd like to hang back a little bit, ya know?

SO, without making this drag on too long, here's my goals

    - Find a suitable free content locker (Is Pyronaut's any good? Any suggestions?)
    - Find a couple of promising CPA companies and try to get accepted into them. My problem is I have NO experience, so I don't really know how I could bull sh!t my way through the phone interview.
    - Assuming I complete goal 2, setup a site with a fresh domain on the old hosting and promote it via Youtube and other forums

Btw I've heard there are services on Fivverr that can REALLY boost the amount of quality traffic you get to your sites. Are those Xrumer blasts, or something else? Sorry, I know I seem like an idiot, bear with me

If I could get a couple of suggestions then I might as well get the ball rolling!

Good luck man. I'd recommend sticking with meathead's tutorial. Once you find a good niche you'll be racking in some cash pretty quickly.

I feel the same way man; just starting out also and my goal is $20/day by 2012. $600 would be great, especially if you could get that and still have a part-time job (for benefits and just getting out of the house) - its not a large goal like most people have here, but it would make me happy

Im trying whitehat stuff first, but I may try some sort of CPA content-locking site also on a cheaper host/domain.. its unfortunate the stuff that pays well is the stuff thats shady and potentially illegal =[ I dont wanna get banned from anything, its not a good feeling.

Hope it works for ya though; ill follow along and lets hope we can reach our goals.

Being that I joined about 40 networks over the past few months, hit me up if you want some beginner ones. I have a few that are no-phone call, but it is well known that networks that accept such shave some leads.

Yikes, looks like I've been working a lot more than I thought...

    Didn't realize it's been two weeks :D

Well to update, I just bought Content Lock Pro v2, and I'm running in to a small snag :|

    Code:
    Dear xxxxxxx xxxxxxx,
Thank you for purchasing Content Lock Pro. Below are the purchase details:
                [B]Product Name:[/B] Content Lock Pro
             [B]Purchased Price:[/B] 97.00
             [B]Transaction ID:[/B] xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
                           [B]Purchase Date:[/B] 04:14:31 Nov 16, 2011 PST
To complete your license setup you must enter below the [B]domain and folder name[/B] where you intend to install and use Content Lock Pro, using the [B]following format[/B] (It is suggested you do NOT use names related to "locking"):

    [COLOR=#FF0000][B]yourdomain. com/yourchosenfoldername[/B][/COLOR]
On the next page, you will receive confirmation that your license has been set up and you will be able to download Content Lock Pro.

            Domain and Folder Name:
I have hosting, but I don't have a domain yet, I could buy one right now but I haven't exactly sat down and fully planned out what I want to do. Was thinking about setting up a CPA website using CLP v2 and have the niche target people for things like "Free Microsoft Points" or "Free PPV for UFC fights etc"

I personally don't give a fuk about UFC, but I know a LOT of people go apeshit over that stuff and would probably love to watch fights for free as they're happening and not the next day or the day after that.

Sound like a stupid idea? I guess rough plan outline would be something like

Throw up a clean looking website claiming to have a guide on how to get free PPV subscriptions or other cable hacks

Lock that biatch with CLP v2

    ????

    Profit

    Opinions? Thanks guys! :)

Gah, I STILL can't come up with a solid niche. I don't want to keep wasting time or money buy purchasing a ton of domains if they're highly saturated and I won't be able to do anything with them.

An idea DID come to me though... A niche that is ALWAYS growing and with more demand...

Sex! There will always be perverts out there who have watched 1 too many pr0n vids and will do quite a lot to finally get the real thing! (or so they think!)

Any ideas about how I should go about implementing this? I found a list of a ton of Adult CPA affiliates but I'm really not sure which one would be best to go with D:

    Hey Tw1tcH,

Check this thread by WizIMS and say goodbye to the mental block with regards on which niche to use CLP.

    Code:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/371578-free-method-find-1000s-cpa-brilliant-ideas.html
As with regards domain name. Use the above thread for ideas. Pick something you like and then just choose a generic domain within that niche.

If your gonna go down the sex always sells route then this thread is another one that again pulls in the punters to your CLP:

    Code:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/372454-how-i-made-215-12-hours-twitter.html
In there he describes a picture of a girl giving oral but with it slightly blurred. Enough to excuse the pun, prick the interest in some loaner and et voila, your content locker appears!. chi-ching.

    Beautiful! Thank you gentleman!

I redid everything on my hosting account with a fresh start, putting the finishing touches on the website, once you get past the initial block and get the momentum going it becomes a lot easier to come up with ideas.

Something that encouraged me in a way was I noticed the last domain I had going on on my account had just a bit over 100 views and I had literally done ZERO promoting. Hell, in fact, I didn't even have any content on the site! lol

I can't WAIT to start promoting this biznatch either tonight/tomorrow.

FWIW I went with a slightly broadish niche that let's me include a lot of smaller things I wanted. I initially, and still kinda do, wanted to do something a bit more targeted, but then I was like "well shit, most gamers are pretty damn lazy people who don't bother with a job because they're always playing games. They would LOVE to keep their habit going for free" I mean c'mon, a drug addict won't turn down free crack will he? :D

I made a site that targets Xbox users looking for free points, live codes or games. Bought the domain earlier and so far I'm satisfied with it, surprisingly.

I also contacted two members earlier about getting into some CPA networks, so likely tomorrow we'll get that off the ground and I can place the ads for Content Lock Pro v2 and start promoting.

One thing I'm a tiny bit stuck on. Promoting. I was planning to do a bunch of videos and upload a ton of Youtube videos and pay some Micro workers to upload them for me as well (outsource outsource outsource right?)

I feel there are many other viable options out there to really get the word out. I heard about paying people on Fivverr to do XRumer blasts which basically promotes a fuk ton of back links to your blog (My site is a simple, clean, gaming oriented Wordpress site)

Would that be beneficial in any way? I tried reading up on XRumer but TBH, I feel kinda slow for not fully grasping it. Would love whoever can clarify that for me :)

As for that sex CLP thread earlier, I saw that yesterday and loved it, very tempted to try it out, but I want to see how my own project goes first ya know? The thing that stopped me was I didn't have a friend who could make 1500 twitter accounts like he did :( I am sure there is a way to purchase some, but I'd have no idea on the price or where to find (I should have checked our For Sale section first)

I also don't wanna spread myself out over too much ya know? Hell when I can make my first $1 with this (would be freakin sweet to do it by the end of the weekend) then I'll have the subconscious reassurance that this works and nothin's gonna stop this money train

EDIT: Oh and when if I even start making $10 a day, I'm sure as hell going to join you Jr. Vip guys if it's really worth it. Would any of you say it is?

Spin these together and make a game graphic and label them as cheat codes for new games and then message people about it.

    Hey Tw1tcH,

Well done for taking action. I am at the same point as you hence the vested interested in using a content locker.

The microsoft points is a great niche with plenty of interested already awaiting. You should definitely bookmark that content site as it is a great way to reverse engineer what others are doing and help with new ideas.

G-S-T has a great thread that details him using CLP with blogger. This allows you too try different niches like sex without the extra cost of a domain. If it works you buy the domain and run with it.

My advice is to also stay clear of xrumer straight to your site. Create buffer sites that point to your money maker.

    Keep us updated mate.

Bumping this. It's a year later. Yes, I gave up, life took over and it was a hell of a ride. A new chapter of my life has began since then and I'm getting fucking serious about this now, now more dicking around. I've already setup a host/domain, have my content ready for the most part, have numerous videos for Youtube, and now the only thing I need to do is figure out a network to join and find a way to get into it. I'm trying to find a small decent network that won't call me out, because I'm honestly not sure what I'm saying about this stuff, which pains me to say that.

I plan to use a free content locker at first (Pyronauts?) and if that shows promise then I will gladly purchase Content Locker Pro v2 and go from there.

Got absolutely nothing accomplished today despite working at it all day, which is frustrating. So far have never made a single cent online. Getting that itch to go forward, but I guess tomorrow I will just have to select a network and random and take a leap of faith and try. I'd use what to say in the stickies, but that's completely unrealistic for someone at my skill level and I'd probably get called out REAL quick you know? Have thought about explaining to them that I'm new and trying to get a start, but something tells me they won't see my leads as "quality" exactly, so this is where I run into a conundrum. I guess we'll just have to see.
