Ridiculous. Shit's cracking down now. Better sell off your TV sites now if you can. $230,000 from 2007 till now is not bad at all. Could have gotten a small fortune if he sold it.

They're picking on some 23 year old dude cause they know they can barely enforce this shit in the US and want to crucify him in the public eye to "set an example".

maybe he still have some $ left since then to pay the damn lawyers . Bit shame wondering how the heck they got hes ass , the article from bbc isn't giving too much details at the end of the day ...
    my two cents :
    1. move your domains with such '' sensitive '' content elsewhere there are plenty of chooses
    2. hosting can be a bitch I know , but better cover your ass then to worry about dropping the soap later you know what I mean .

Before like couple of years ago I was used to run myself one of those sites with embed content from youtube/vimeo bla bla bla ... series and so on unfortunately I wasn't able to scale it up since I wasn't able to rank it nicely so I just leave to drop the domain lol .

He will be "jailed" but it will only to be processed and be told the charges. He will have to go before a judge to determine if he will have a bail set,and what amount. If he can afford it or be able to get the money from a bondsman,he will be free on bond, while awaiting trial and during the trial. He will only go to prison if the prosecution proves beyond a reasonable doubt that he violated u.s. laws to the jury.

The guy didn't host any content all he posted was links no different the google
I woulds be asking my lawyers to search and see which and if any of those links
    were listed.
I don't know too much about the case but if his site was listed and he hadn't
submitted it himself then it is the search engines that should be in the dock.
