Soo I'm thinking of doing the TV Show streaming niche, and just embedding Youtube videos (which I read is safe as the infringement lies with the Youtube uploader), or simply embedding videos from other video hosting services.

I don't need every episode to be available on the site, I mostly want it to be as safe as possible with no legal risk.

Can I monetize with Adwords using this method, or is that against the TOS?

Any other advertisers you guys would recommend when using such a method?

How about if I build or buy a jQuery thing that shows an advert in the space of the embedded video for some time, then it displays the embedded video after it completes?

    Thanks all

Since you are not directly using like adsense to advertise on the YouTube video then I dont see any issue monetizing off of
embedded YouTube videos. We both know to fully understand Google terms you need a damn lawyer to catch it all and memorize it
but you should be find hosting it yourself.
