I have a web store.

Ok lets say, I have a product category page which I want to rank.

According to the guide, I have to write articles with long tail keywords focused(5) and related keywords focused(5) and publish on my website.

Then, I have to build backlinks at those articles with 20ish/month web2, forum, etc.

My question is,

I DO have to link from the long tail articles on my website to my web page which I want to rank. (category link), right?

Is there any other things which I have to be concered since im applying this on a store.
I have blog posts on "journal" page. Can be access by the header main menu.

Thanks in advanced.

As far as I experienced, google put more value to websites with organic traffic,
that includes crawling, indexing and even ranking
such a tactic can be very useful to build some trust, authority and start ranking and getting some of the cashback to invest even more,
doing things gradually is the way to go especially for people with a tight budget,
good one op, although that won't work for anything above the low or low-med competition keywords which needs some good investments there
Thank you for your comment.
I kinda spammed my websites and did publish "10 longtail articles" + "10 simply related keywords" per month and I continued doing that for 3 months.
Posting 30 articles in 3 months (where all 30 are longtail of a longtail) - is kinda spamming your own website but all my websites did break in top 20 without much SEO for medium difficulty keywords.
There are jewelry related buyer intent high competition keywords. A 9600 searches money making kw ranked 8 and many other medium difficulty keywords in top 20....And all that by mainly adding articles and some cheap links.

Simple guide and I have a feeling this should work. What your opinion OP regarding investing more on some quality guest posts or other backlinks will that push it up if it's near the 20th position in Serp?
If u r in the top 20- you should stick to good links only. Quality guest posts.......

very useful information, i have a question is I have so many clients who don't like blog pages on a website and they have single page (parallax websites)

How you can solve this?
There are many niche where having a few pages on your website is enough. Probably your client's "top 10 websites" in their niche have "very small content" on their website and therefore they are probably not interested in adding blog pages on their website.
U r asking me- how to solve this.. .... U can Tell them the importance of having more content on their website. I personally will not force someone a lot if they dont want to add content.....
Having a lot of content is definitely not a necessity in many niches.

Anyone who knows about SEO knows that there isn't anything more powerful than PBN's to rank high and fast.
May be expensive, but truly efficient.

Because PBNs still work like a charm if setup the right way

Agree
People use cheap PBNs here and there then give these type of statements after failure.
U guys r absolutely right. PBN is always quick, easy and fast but I prefer outreach over pbn links.
I get outreach done in-house and I prefer outreach over PBN.
There are great websites that can give you links for a very small amount. U need to present them with "an article title" that their users might like.

That's a great share!
But don't you think there might be a chance of google ranking the wrong page for the wrong keyword as the keywords are so closely related to each other.
Do interlinking using correct keywords yourself and this will not happen.
ALSO U will be doing links for your main URL so google will not screw it up for your main desired keywords/urls.

How much traffic are you getting after 3 months ?
2kish?
Different traffic on different websites.

Hello everyone.
I have decided to share my "exact method," - which I use to rank my websites successfully.
I keep doing some sort of "Seo experiment" regularly.
What you are about to read is- something which has worked perfectly for me for the last 3 personal websites of mine.

Step 0: Stop focusing on your "EXACT KEYWORD." Focus on a "LONGTAIL keyword" first
Suppose that you want to rank for the keyword "dating tips."
Ranking for a keyword like "dating tips" is going to be hard, and therefore- I will stop thinking about ranking the keyword "dating tips" ~ Instead, I will focus on "ranking a longtail keyword."

For example:
If I want to rank for "DATING TIPS," then I will ignore that keyword, and instead- I will work on a longtail keyword such as "dating tips for men."
Reason 1 for using a longtail keyword: Ranking this longtail keyword is EASIER than ranking the main keyword.
Reason 2 for using a longtail keyword: If you can rank your website for "a longtail keyword," then there are good chances that google will start ranking your other "broad keywords" eventually, too.

Step 1. Publish 5 "longtail of longtail articles" + Publish 5 random topic articles On your website

If I want to rank for DATING TIPS, then I will ignore that keyword and will work on a longtail keyword such as "dating tips for men"
If "Dating tips" is my MAIN keyword, I will call "DATING TIPS FOR MEN" a longtail keyword.

NOW- I will find "some longtail keywords" for my "longtail keyword."

For example:
Here are some longtail keywords for my longtail keyword "dating tips for men"
Dating tips for men over 50
Dating tips for men over 40
Dating tips for men from women
dating tips for men by men
dating tips for men dating older women
Online dating tips for men (I will NOT use this keyword)
Successful dating tips for men (I will NOT use this keyword)

I have written 7 keywords above. From those 7 keywords- I will pick "first 5 keywords" and I will NOT pick last 2 keywords....
If I already have an article on my website for the keyword "Dating tips for men" then It will NOT make sense to write an article on the last 2 keywords (from those 7 keywords).

Now I will simply tell my writer to write 5 articles for those 5 different keywords, and I will publish those 5 articles on my website.

I will also tell my writer to write 5 more articles on various other "niche-related keywords."
For example:
I can provide keywords like these to my writer -->

Flirty first date questions
Should I date him
Second date etiquette
What does a second date mean to a guy
Is dating a girl with a kid a bad idea

NOW- I will publish these 10 articles on my website.....
So in this step- We found "5 longtail keywords of a longtail keyword," and then we wrote 5 different articles for those 5 keywords and published them on our website...
In this step- We also published "5 more articles" on our website using other keywords.

If you continue above written method for 1-2-3 months (and do absolutely nothing else) then there are high chances- you will get good rankings EVEN WITHOUT ANY BACKLINKS.

I have a detailed case study that proves the line U just read.

STEP 2: I will make 20ish backlinks. 10 Backlinks for "dating tips for men" post using "longtail keywords." Other 10 backlinks for "different 4 pages" of my website

NOW- U should get 10 backlinks built for your "dating tips for men" post URL. Get these backlinks built using "5 longtail keywords " U had found earlier in step 1.....
Apart from that- u should get another 10 backlinks built for "different 4-5 posts URLs" of your website.

So - in this step- We are basically getting 20ish backlinks built per month.
Make sure to create backlinks using brand, generic, random anchors too.

Step 3: Continue step 1 and step 2 for 3-4 months, and you should be a lot happy
NOW simply continue STEP 1 and STEP 2 for a few months, and you should be happy. You should be able to see better results in as little as 1 month only.
At least I did see all my 3 websites in the top 20 in "2-3 months," only following everything written above.

BONUS TIPS:
1
. I am a SEO services seller here on blackhatworld, and I have seen that- most clients spend a lot of money on backlinks but not on articles. DO NOT DO THAT.
2. Finding a good article writer for cheap is not hard.
Go on Truelancer, Freelancer, Upwork, Onlinejobs.ph > Post an article writing job> and you will easily find writers those write great content for $4 per 500 words and less only.
I am not talking about only "grammatically correct" articles here.... $4 per 500 words is enough money to find writers who write perfectly formatted, good flow, good content, interesting title, creative articles.
The only downside of finding writers on websites like those is= you will need to check content of many guys there. ALSO, you will find "individual writers" there only. On blackhatworld- you can find writers who have a team, but unfortunately, on freelancer type websites- u will need to talk to all the guys "one by one" only.
3. Always remember that- SEO is something- which must be done regularly. You must post "new articles" on your website every month. You must make "new links" for your website every month.
This is really fine to make 50 backlinks this month and only 5 backlinks next month but never- ever ever ever- stop doing "new links" and "new content" for your website every month.
"New content" and "new links" will do nothing but only help you grow a website.
4. If you are making backlinks, then make sure to index those too. Doing "social media votes" for your backlinks is an easy and fast way to get them indexed.
5. I made backlinks like web2.0, niche forum posts, discussion websites posts, guest posts, EDU, Wikipedia backlink, social profiles, niche relevant comments type backlinks. Backlinks like these always help me secure the top 20-30 quickly.
I never do "PBN backlinks." According to me- the final result of "pbn backlinks" are nothing but DEATH for your website.
6. Once I rank in the top 20- I stop doing links like web2.0s, and instead, I focus on outreach guest posts, news, magazine links only.
7. If you are ordering a link-building service from someone- make sure to give him "at least 5 different URLs" from your website. Google hates to see all your backlinks coming for only 1-2 urls of your website.

Good write up. The advice here will help people get better results, but I really don't recommend you create 10 backlinks to 1 page. You'll get better results if you create 2-3 to your main page instead and send 7-8 of those to other pages that are topically related. Spread out the backlinks more. It works far better.

And obviously, as someone who lives and breathes pbns I have to raise my eyebrow at your tip 5 :) Come on. pbns are the #1 most powerful type of backlink you can get. Homepage contextual. It just needs to be used more sparingly and you shouldn't have 100's of homepage contextuals. 10 to 70 depending on the size of your site. 10-20 for smaller, up to 70 for bigger authority sites.

Regarding PBN- A properly setup PBN is definitely a great thing to have but, is not managing a good PBN a headache?
I do not like pbn management. Management of a good pbn always takes too much time and a very boring thing to do (at least for me).
I have seen your PBN and I like your sites. YOu keep only 8 homepage obl and keep all the content relevant too. but how many good PBN are there like yours?
If one want to truly enjoy PBN power- then the best bet is setting up "your own personal pbn".
but at any given day- I will prefer outreach over PBN creation ~ as pbn management suck and outreach is an easier thing to do.

ALSO I have been "manually screwed" by google so many times. Probably that is another reason I don't like PBN.

For a normal internet user- chances of buying a good pbn is way too low. That is why I wrote point 5 in the tutorial.

Thank you, you made me realise that I've been partially doing this for a long time already, and indeed it pays off if you want to build brand awareness and bring some traffic.

What I didn't do is the longtail backlinks part; so my question to you is.....what's the maximum number of words a longtail should contain?

Thanks!

Everthing above 4 words are consider longtail keyword no matter how many words, can go as long as 20 words if you can find 20 words keyword with some traffic and low competition.

hope it helps although my BHW account are newbie :p

Did I understand that correctly?

If I want to rank the article "Dating tips for men".

Do I take with 5 longtail variants of the keyword and also write posts about it:

Dating tips for men over 50
Dating tips for men over 40
dating tips for men from women
dating tips for men by men
dating tips for men dating older women

All 5 posts then link internally to the post with the main keyword "Dating for Men" and at the same time they are internally linked to each other?

Like a close-meshed net of internal links?

What is the best way to implement this technically? Do I just have a wordpress cateogry and all 5+1 post in the category "Dating Tips"? Or how do I do that best?

@splishsplash Opinion would also be very interesting to this.
