Nice video! Here is my take:
The general concept is to find recently announced products/services and write reviews or other content in an attempt to rank for the keyword early, so that when the product/service is officially released you have a leg up on the competition.
1) visit news.google.com
2) search for "announced" in quotation marks
3) find products that were recently announced, the example in the video is 'Samsung Galaxy S IV'
4) go to google keyword tool, login, check EXACT, and search for a previous version of the product. in the video, the example searched for is 'Samsung Galaxy S3' which receives ~60k local searches. the video goes on to search for 'Samsung Galaxy S3 reviews' which receives ~22k searches
5) when you find a keyword you are comfortable with that has a nice amount of local searches and CPC, create some content and get an early start ahead of the competition that will surely come in the future
Yes sir! But the CPC doesn't matter at least to me
You can slap Adsense on the websites until the product is available to promote on Amazon/Ebay but then when those come around I remove Adsense right away (I actually don't even put Adsense on them but if I did this is what would happen) and replace it with my Amazon or Ebay affiliate link
So, should I say, thanks for the "heads up"

Well, there is no news.google anymore, so, how do manage to get new untapped searches again? In my opinion, I would go to the press release and see what's new in there.
Where has Google news gone? It is right where it was???
