ok, ever since Yahoo implemented the new anti-spam policy... all level 1's links are not hyperlinked. This, of course, pose a huge problem.

Today I just found a way to bypass it.

Whenever I post a YAHOO hyperlink in my level 1 answers or question, it gets hyperlinked. Then I wonder.. if all Yahoo links are allowed to be hyperlinked, how can I insert my own URL so that I can bypass it?

And I just got the answer:

    Type this:
    http://rds.yahoo.com/**http%3a//YOUR-URL
[Remember, it's not colon but %3a]

    i.e: http://rds.yahoo.com/**http%3a//www.google.com

NOTE: The %3a is actually the code for the colon. If you do not use the %3a, the link will not be hyperlinked.

IF YOU VISIT THIS LINK DIRECTLY, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE "
[SIZE=+1]This link is not authorized by Yahoo!" warning.
But if you post this in Yahoo Answers and when users click it from there, they will NOT see the warning at all - the user will be redirected to the intended URL of yours smoothly.

    Remember to thank me ;)

FYI, 0x2A is actually the ASCII for *

    Sorry :p

    Also,
    Code:
    http://rds.yahoo.com/**http%2a//www.google.com
doesn't redirect me to Google

    Code:
    [FONT=arial][SIZE=+1] [B]Forbidden[/B][/SIZE][/FONT]    [FONT=arial]
You don't have permission to access /**http%252a//www.google.com on this server.[/FONT]
Edit: So, we're swapping %2A for %3A. That works :D Nice post.

My bad, just now it was a typo.

It should be %3a.. NOT %2a

And use this technique when posting links in Yahoo Answers if you're using level 1 accounts. It will help you to get your links hyperlinked.

And don't worry about it.. if you copy and paste to your address bar.. it will appear as an error.

But if you post it as an answer or question, it will be ok.
Do this on their answer-preview or question-preview to test it out.

You are bound to get that warning message if you visit the url directly from your web browser.

But if you post the link in Yahoo Answers and click it (try it in the Answer Preview or Question Preview), you won't receive this warning message at all

Yahoo usually "bans" the url if it is being used too many times.

I realize there are many users already using this technique in Y!A. So the "rds.yahoo.com" url will be banned somehow but usually for just a few hours.

Anyway, I just checked it again and it was working well.

It's supposed to appear like that in your preview.

Try clicking it.. you will see that you will be redirected to your URL smoothly =)

The good thing is.. most Yahoo Answers users will see that "Yahoo.com" and think it's a valid domain. This will increase the chances of people clicking on your URL.

But I think this "belief" will be a limited time since most "spammers" or us will be using it.

the point is it will show hyperlinked, and if you click it it will bring you to the page, hence you can use this for your cpa offers etc and get clickable links without having a level 4 acct

I guess if was a person looking for a answer I wouldn't probably click on one of those links just b/c they look fishy to someone that isn't a common user.

Do you still get PR rank or google juice from yahoo answers with your link like this http://hiderefer.org/?http://hiderefer.org/?http://rds.yahoo.com/**http://www.google.comhttp://www.google.com

Not sure if I asked that question the right way or not LMAO!

I doubt you will get PR rank or google juice because they're "nofollow".

But still, if you want to link to your site, I wouldn't suggest this hyperlink method. Only use it for CPA links.

Ok folks, the domain is not blocked. You still can use this technique.
