Maybe this is common knowledge, but I learned this recently and it has really helped. When I used to run an SEO tool like SB, AMR, and various others that I use they tended to grind on the PC resources and can really lag? but you can prioritize system resources to a tool that you are using and it greatly reduces the lag.

What you do is use the Windows Task Manager and assign a priority to it. Here is how you do it in Windoze:

[1] hit the <Ctrl><Alt><Del> keys to activate the Windows Task Manager
[2] select the ?Processes? tab at the top
[3] scroll down and highlight the app your are using (the words will be highlighted in blue when it is selected)
[4] right click on your selected app, then slide down the cursor to ?Set Priority?
[5] then select ?Realtime?, you will then get a warning message but just click on ?Yes? and it will be OK

Now you are in business and your app should run much faster? give it a try and see if it makes a difference for you? hope that helps someone.
