Basically all you are doing is adding one line of code to your .htaccess file.

The short sweet and simple method....

1.) Paste this line of code in your .htaccess file

Check Download Links Code:

/index.html

And your done! Notice that your homepage will now suddenly redirect to Google, but all other pages will still work fine. After the next Google PR update, remove that line of code in your .htacess file, and if you look at that page it will have a PR 10!

I think your title is a little misleading. It should say how to get PR10, not top 10. That's an entirely different story.

Pagerank on the toolbar is nonsense unless you're going to sell links to complete newbies. This thread isn't about how to get a top 10. The only way to get top 10 is to build high quality links in good quantities with proper anchor text along with good onpage SEO such as title tags and clean content with keywords. There is no magic trick or secret to get in the top 10...

This may fool your toolbar, but this will not fool Google.

Useless but fun to try, that is if your site not deindexed by G before the next PR update

It should be fun to try what has been suggested, though. But, yes i completely agree that one way to get into the top 10 in Google is to have good quality links in quantities with proper anchor text along with good onpage SEO such as title tags and clean content with keywords. Having good long tail keywords is also a must when you want to be on the top 10.
