Hi there everyone!

I am an owner of a little product called CaffeinatedWorld.
The product is a simple modification of CaffeinatedContent + a statistics / cron panel that lets you manage many blogs at once.
I've put a lot of work to make it piracy-protected and because of that many of my customers some problems while installing it and I spent a lot of time on support.

I'm starting work on a new version and I'm thinking about turning a product that is installed on client-side into a big service where everyone have their accounts and use it on my server.

I have a few questions to you because as far as I can see many of you have your own products running:
- What would you prefer as a customer? To have a package you download and then install or to use a service you login and start using immediatly?
- How much of server-effiency what I need basing on the fact that most of the work is done on the blogs that this service controls. It's mostly a remote-cron runner
- Did anyone have a customer side installation product that he turned into a massive on-line service? Did you have many issues on the way?

Any advice would be great!
