I got my 10+ account suspended and it took me 3-4 days to find out why - "spamming affiliate!"

I have posted hundreds on each account, and i only put in affiliate links in about 2 of them. I would not consider myself spamming, because I only used affiliate links in a few, very few, posts. The way I did it is, from what I read here on bhw, reblog some posts and change the image url to aff link. because of that, i think they innitially thought it was their system "glitch" as said in the emails. even they have trouble finding the links i put in! they also suspended all my accounts on the same ip.

just a heads-up for those who use tumblr.

Yes it seems like Tumblr is hard to work with. Just keep making accounts and trying new things.

Their anti spam measures are definitely being ramped up right now. I'm currently doing some heavy testing to see what sorts of red flags catch their eyes right now and figure out some sort of best practices.

got any conclusions from your tests?
I wonder if it's considered aff spamming if you put links under your own images?

I can understand it's considered spamming, by reblogging while altering the image links. it seems ok, to put up a static aff ads. so i think the key is "spamming", not affiliate. so i wonder if it's ok if you put links in your own posts. if others reblog, you are not the one who is "spamming?"

I had one account banned recently. It was using ittt to repost pinterest pins. Only about 4 per day max and the account was banned in under a week of doing this. I stopped and have not had any banned lately.

are you putting aff links under all your post images?
are you putting links in reblogs?
when you post pinterest pins, were you constantly running the bot? or posted into your queue?

I was adding links back to my site but not aff links. I was using ifttt.com to post the links so they are not queued, instead they are posted within 15 minutes of ifttt seeing them on an rss feed. The site is always running waiting for new links to hit the rss feed.

They are really "on the ball" now versus a few months ago. I suppose they setup all kinds of triggers to flag accounts.

Did you know that ifttt added the ability to push to queue? You could try again dripping stuff out through the queue.

The posts come through Twitter's API on Ifttt's server (IP).

all uploads were done by hand
is there any safe means to monetize with adult stuff?
