    Bad news, everyone. (c)

I've been in Tumblr NSFW blogs business (accounts, ads, different methods, etc) for last 2 years and i guess its the end for Tumblr NSFW Era.

    Why?
    1. Brand new blog created with private proxy (virgin, as supplier told) without ads, only posts has been terminated after 5 days of using. No hard following, no ads, no bots.
    2. Brand new blog created with virgin private proxy with self-coded bot, and posted with self-coded bot without ads. Terminated after 4 days.
    3. Accounts bought from different suppliers (from 5$-20$ per 100 accounts) and again with virgin proxies and posted via bots. Terminated within 2-6 days. Again no Ads.

I guess there is no need to tell you how long 1 account last if you start flooding/placing ads exact same moment after creation.

I've lost maybe 3-4 months trying to understand Tumblr logic and how they detect spammers/non-spammers accounts and still cant tell you exact way. I've re-write my bot maybe 3-4 times and made a hundreds changes. Still nothing.

Two years ago it was such a good way of making money. Some of my partners with same method like me 2 years ago has hitted ~120$ per day. (Not special method, just making account and placing some ads on it.) Nowadays he cant reach 10$ and all because of very fast and furious account terminating...

Thats all. I decided to stop all my tries and to move on for next adventures.
Thank you, Tumblr! You are b@st@rds!

P.S. Is there same situation with SFW (non-adult) accounts/blogs nowadays or they are with less chance of terminating?

The one thing I see that is constant is the use of bots. Have you tried growing a couple accounts without the use of bots? I know it is slow and not time efficient but maybe that will help to understand your issue?

Thank you for your answer, Douglife31.
I guess its a general NSFW problem and maybe some kind of Tumblr Proxy Detection. For example i had 5 accounts from which i have made some posts and reblogs, nothing more. In couple of days (maybe week maximum) my accounts get suspended. Proxies were virgin and non-used with Tumblr. Everything was hand-made and driving by myself.

Actually I am not the onliest person who is complaining about Tumblr suspends.

So actually is there same situation with SFW blog?

    Bullshit. NSFW blogs are fine.
I have several ranging from over a year old to a few months. I don't use proxies either as it is not something Tumblr worries about.
Providing you abide their T.O.S, there won't be a problem.

CazuaL, they are fine since you are not posting ANY link,ad, and etc. If you do so, you are getting instant suspension and do not even receive any answers from their staff.

That wasn't like that before 2 years.
That is why i have decided to move on. And got some questions about SFW.

You act as if it is something new.. They have not allowed advertising for over a year now.
It's you who has been unable to adapt to the changes. Simply push the traffic to your own site, done.

    CazuaL,
can you please tell more about how to push traffic to your site if it is advertising again? Watermark - It doesn't worth. Click-through link - you get terminated again because its advertising. Placing link into description to your image... i am pretty sure that you will get banned again.

Holding the same state of mind won't solve your problem.

For as long as you think you don't have options, you won't have them.

There are plenty of marketers on tumblr. Just check their search page and you'll find plenty of advertising links.

    Click-through link works perfectly fine.
Never had any issues doing so.

I've seen a couple of guys here with methods to get money from Tumblr, and they've never mentioned the NSFW issue. Maybe is a bot-related thing causing the suspension? (headers, behavior or something like that)

Are you running them on auto-pilot posting or you just keep them for the future? Are they active or not?

We are updating our scripts (bot) every time when tumblr changes something. But still NSFW blogs got very high chance to be terminated, especially if you are placing some ads on them.

From my knowledge with Tumblr it is like throwing a dart at a dart board. I had about 6 tumblrs that were all doing well and I was on the same IP for all of them. One of them got hit and it was like a domino effect after that... After all of them got banned I tried creating new ones and those ones were also banned within a week.

Recently I've been running CCleaner before logging into my new one and it has been working for nearly a month now. I'm going to start trying to build a couple more while using CCleaner and see if that prevents them from being banned.

It doesn't have anything to do with them being NSFW, it has more to do with what you are using the accounts for....

Its very risky to keep all your accounts at one IP, especially if they are NSFW, because there is a moment when Tumblr gets you and ban all your accounts.

I don't think that problem is in CCleaner. Actually you can deactivate Flash Player at your browser and working with Private Session (Private Browsing) everytime. It wont store any cookies or temp files. I guess its a best way till now.

Making NSFW blog and placing some ads is like Russian Roulette. They can work for 1 month or they die in 24 hours.

I don't really have problem all my account are made manually with real IP, i have dynamic IP. I can make 5 IP and the next ones are directly suspended.. but if you change the resolution and the browser it's all fine. Once i had o problem with suspension but i think it was about the usernames, same keyword used in username.

My main point to all of that was if you are clearing your cache and cookies each time you should be alright if you aren't just spamming affiliate links. As others mentioned start sending traffic to a hosted site where you sell your offers there and that will help quite a bit.

It is risky to keep all blogs on the same IP, but at the same time you really shouldn't have all of your eggs in one basket. Meaning relying on all of your traffic from Tumblr is bad. I learned this the hard way and went from $10/day down to $0.50/day.

Lately i have noticed interesting thing.
Accounts which were managed from [Proxy Provider 1] get almost instant ban, but accounts from [Proxy Provider 2] are still alive.
I guess there is a problem in proxy providers and some marked-as-spam subnets of those proxy providers (i already tried 5-6 proxy providers and only one is working well for now).
Is there are problem with Amazon AWS for example with Tumblr and are AWS IPs are banned too or they are fine. I guess you can change your IP everytime.
Maybe someone of you using AWS like Tumblr proxy, give any suggestion?

There are NSFW tumblrs out there that have been around since 2009 and haven't been banned. Tumblr doesn't have an issue with NSFW including porn.

I agree, starting from December 13th 2014m there was furious blog terminations. I think they updated their security. Now you have to be very carefull on what IP's, content, themes and even mail providers you use to create the blog. Like the account you buy bulk have russian mail provider used to create them. Those get terminated what ever you do fast. Found any ways to prolong account life anyone yet ?
