tumblr keep banning my new accounts - help please

Hi,

I'm not able to setup new accounts ... I was using US private proxies, but right after signup were the accounts banned, so I've got VPS from my local hosting provider, I've installed own private proxy soft, got fresh IPs and guess what? that piece of yahoo shit banned me again .... I have 15 virgin IPs, made only two accounts on two different proxies and that's it, all other accounts from never used before proxies were banned right after signup

there must be some backdoor how tumblr found that's me again

any help appreciate

and yes, I've cleared all shit on my comp, even the LSO cookies, I have own FireFox profile for each account but nothing helps

Mac address is quite often what gives you away and that only changes with a reinstall (happy to be corrected)

Be careful about browser cookies. Must clear before create new one or login to another ID.

Tumblr doesn't store mac addresses. You can't do that from a normal browser.

The computers Mac address is part of the ip information available to all sites, you can change your ip but the mac stays the same.

Can't do what from the browser?

Maybe the ips u bought ain't virgin as much as it claims. Moreover tumblr has this ip block ban for some specific ip ranges, so insta ban after creating account is a usual thing. if you have dynamic ip, then use it to create accs, and use firefox private browsing mode

they are for sure the most virgin IPs I can get admins even didn't know what high anonymous proxy is, they installed and checked this stuff for the first time

update: I've just installed http://noscript.net/ plugin for FF and was able to create one account with another proxy, going to try more

Harvest someone's Mac Address. You can change your Mac Address easily with the right Linux. Reinstalling **doesn't** change it either. I'm not sure if you're trolling, but if you're as I suspect, thanks for the excuse to hit 10 posts.

Hi OP,

It is unfortunate to hear but quite true, they had logged most necessary information from your web browser hence being able to detect your inputs.

However, have you tried AnonyX plugin in Mozilla Firefox, the ability to change ip address. Hidemyass is a good alternative though.

Another choice is to go to any Lan/Computer shop, borrow a network there and create tons of accounts before leaving with a huge grin!!

Real email? hotmail, yahoo etc.?

Been creating tumblr with no problem here.. I mean creating 50-100
accounts per day..

I am just using a VPN and firefox with betterprivacy app and sometimes
using google chrome via 'incognito window' and it solve the problems..

Unless things have changed, its not possible for a remote server to read the clients MAC address without having some client side code running on the local machine.

Browser can't read Mac address. Not possible. Anonymous access is very easy to detect these days.

I'd bet money on it being your user-agent causing problems, you need to randomize that when switching proxies.
