Tumblr for music video promotion?

Working out details for TW, FB, Reddit, and YT strategy at the moment, and I've never used tumblr, so...

I don't mind digging in and doing a bunch of research on it if there's a point, but since the folks on here know a lot more than I do about it:

Does tumblr provide a viable path for exposure for a music video on YT, or should I just focus on the other outlets since there are limited hours in the day to devote to all of this?

If so or not... any particular reason tumblr would be any better or worse than, say, Reddit?

I am 100% new to all of this, but I think Tumblr could be worth it. First of all there's a queue system for 250 posts that posts a max of 50 times a day. People reblog and follow those kinds of things constantly. If you got a Tumblr bot to mass upload (tags are a pain) it would be really easy to queue yourself up for a week or two at a time. Second of all Tumblr allowed embeded Youtube videos so if you made an account related to music, got it popular and shared your videos then you should get some hits. A lot of Tumblr users seem to be on mobile devices.
