Hello again everybody :)

So i was reading this thread in BHW forums where people said they make around 20 tumblr accounts and each account gets like 3000 followers in a month or so i think it was one of those making money with tumblr posts so i thought i should try that method.

So i started my own tumblr blog about a week ago, posting around 50 pics a day and doing reblogs and likes and followed around 550 other blogs in my niche but its now almost over a week and i only have 117 followers which seems extremely low from the 3000 mark a month if it keeps going like this i might have 20 blogs with 3k likes each in about 2 years lol. Anyway anyone knows what i am doing wrong? what bots i need if any etc. I would extremely appreciate any help you guys can give a noob like me :)

Just keep at it, starting out is that hardest part but after you get 500 followers and post 50 times a day you will gain followers without doing anything.

Keep liking, following and posting. Soon you will reach 1k and it will be a piece of cake from there on.

Now for bot I would recommend xtumblebot but thats only if you plan on buying proxies and making like 20+ tumblr blogs
 
ok me being a super noob would like to know that, am i not allowed to make multiple tumblr accounts? so i would need to buy proxies ? sorry i just started using tumblr like a couple of weeks ago so i still dont know the ins and outs of it :)

so you think achiving a couple of thousands in a month is possible and for the 20 blogs method should i already have 20 blogs ready or should i go at them one by one eg i make first blog it reaches a few thousands than i make the second one or can i take them all together and thanks for super quick reply :)

you can actually make another blog on that one tumblr account but you cannot follow from that blog and it has some other limitations.

I dont believe its against Tumblrs ToS to have multiple accounts but I would not make more than 5 per IP.

Yes you would need to buy proxies if you want to make a lot of accounts and I recommend SSL Private Proxy because they have proxys that work on social media sites, just let them know what you need the proxies for when you purchase.

I reached 3k in one month without a bot and without mass following, just posting but you should use sites like tumblrplug and infinite followers to help you out some so yes you can reach a few thousand with 20 accounts in one month.
 
first few hundred is the hardest part. Then you'll get followers like nothing
 
Start liking and following more OP. You'll gain more followers that way, if you're doing it all manually invest in a bot to speed things up

could you please point me to some bots? and what do they do, i would really appreciate it :)

and even if i make like $3 - $4 in the near future ill make a thread and specially thank you guys for encouragement and help :)

Depends upon your Niche your material originality and luck
those getting 3k Followers in a month must be in adult niche
 
You just need good content, a bot, and patience. It's better to get 30k followers working hard over a year than to get 3k in your first month and get banned. So it's also a risk of more aggressive or less aggressive following, posting, liking etc.

My blog is semi-adult (3-6 nudes a day out of 50)

I think I got lucky because my first day I gained 50 followers because some big account reblogged me and then another 100 a day or two after that then it was a piece of cake.

**little off topic**
I noticed tumblr introduced a new update 2 days ago and my followers gained per day just increased by 100% (yes 100%), anyone else notice this?

Another question! Can i promote stuff from amazon with my affiliate links, for example i have a blog about men's fashion and i just post random pics for the firs month or so to gain somewhere around 3 to 5 k followers and then slowly post products from amazon and earn through their affiliate program?

I would recommend xtumblebot but its $47 per month and only good if you know how to profit from tumblr but is the best tumblr bot out

Another bot you could get is pr traffic (I think thats the name) which is around $60 and a onetime fee I believe.

You can promote it but according to tumblr ToS if your sole purpose is to profit then you will be banned, a safe amount of post to make with your link would be no more than 5 a day

hmm Thank you for your kind reply! :)but i saw a blog which just post pictures of different stuffs from amazon and then posts a link under or as a clickthrough link and the whole blog is like that.

Anyways do you know of any other free (for the moment, untill i have some cashflow) bot that i can use?
