I made about 15-18 tumblrs and pointed them at my website, no problem there, however now when I try to include my URL in any new tumblr I create it says "There was an error saving your post" and if I change my URL say to google.com then it works perfectly fine...

Ever happened to someone? especially since I only created 15-18 tumblrs

Don't bother with Tumblrs, you're links are redirected anyway so you get virtually no value for them. If you need web2.0's stick with wordpress and blogger

I was doing really well with tumblr I worked on it for a year got my followers up to 150k, was making about $100/day then they banned my page and told me because there were affiliate links. My thing was if I wasn't producing great content, I wouldn't have 150k followers. Not to mention the richkidsofinstagram tumblr page has a ton of ads and affiliate links. My page was adult themed and I think that was the bias towards me. I was soooo pissed!!!!

no but I've tried to put it between <a> tags like I did for the other 18 tumblrs and even tried inserting directly in the theme by editing the html. none work with my url but any other works. How can this happen if I only built 18 tumblrs while others have made hundreds

Tumblr has been increasing security filters as part of their algorithm to ween off spammers. I'd imagine this as a newer tactic used to better their grip on you.

Although this is what they added, it doesn't provide reason as to why Yahoo shuts off so many content creators. It also doesn't hold off the problem.

Just curious how many tumblers in your inventory did you have before seeing "good results" just curious..

You must have created them to quickly, or they are starting to sandbox new URLs to watch there activity. You probably triggered a spam algorithm. Remember it's probably just a computer, start working your way backwards by removing links and or blogs that have the link in it until you can post the link again, if that dose not work I'm not sure.

You need to use a real domain name and point to a
webpage that redirects your customers/traffic to your sales page.

tumbler is still earning huge money in the porn niche...

you can not use short url or affilcate domains
you need to use a real plain domain name.

Can't even add links regardless of IP, tried on several different computers on different IPs. If I add my link it automatically gives me an error. Be it in description, be it in the theme html be it in a post.

I had the same situation couple times, waiting single day (sometimes couple hours) solved the problem.
