    It's called Reset.Me
It's a bunch of "quality", hand written articles that fit a small niche, psychedelics and healing(without using psych meds). It's very hippie-esque I suppose.
Anyways, they have 150k likes on facebook. This is a completed and active website, I feel like making something like this would take some work and outsourcing, obviously right. But I don't see this particular website as being monetized. Even if I owned this website and stuck adsense on it, I feel like it'd be a couple hundred dollars a month at best. It's like a great idea for a website that didn't quite take off in my opinion.

So this let's me down, because I thought I might be able to actually create a quality blog and monetize it. This is a quality blog and it just seems like I would really need to own about 10 similar websites to make a semi-livable income, given that all ten were successful with visitors.

Am I right in what I have assumed here? Is there a better thread to ask questions like this? I'm trying to establish if this is a high quality blog that could be monetized and if it's a decent example of how to create a blog that can be monetized.

I personally disregard articles written and published on blogs like this, it's not a truly credible source of information.... Not sure if blogging is the direction I want to take anymore... Unless I managed to create a website like Kurzweil's or From Quarks to Quasars. Anybody seen I fucking love science around?! I hate that website and facebook page so much! Such low quality content, website full of ads, I guess they are making bank eh?
    fromquarkstoquasars.com/
    kurzweilai.net/
    iflscience.com/
(this used to be super popular with people, I'm telling you, most of my friends follow this page on facebook and share posts from them. For some reason they are regarded as "cool" but anybody who knows anything knows that it's run by people who spend 2 minutes creating sub-par content, they are just shitty as all hell...

worth trying IMO op, the niche looks promising and it'll only get better with more protests on legalizing cannabis all over the glove happens.

So is this a quality website? Is this average for a "blog with articles" basically? Then try to monetize through various methods found on here and in my head?

    Thank you for the replies!
