I'm attempting to start an enthusiast page, and the reason being is because out of the hundreds that are out there, they are all just "Like hungry". I'm placing real information and images on my page and while I've gotten a few likes, most of them are friends I've invited, I'm trying to figure out how to spread this out a bit.

I tried paying for an advertisement, but I'm broke and could only dump $1.50 into it. That got me about 80 views but only 1 like. (Probably because the page is still mildly new with little infomration)

Any ideas to get the page started? (Lets say just get about 100 likes)

Kind-of doing this because I'm passionate about it, but at the same time, I want it to get mildly popular.

First of all you have to engage the few audience you have. Ask questions. Post pictures more than text or links.

I'm posting pictures with all of my post(s), asking questions, what do they think about it, etc.

Making comments on other related pages is a good way to go, as well as funny pictures. The things that people like to share. You'll start to build up a good following.

well, one option is to use addmefast. Earn credits, then spend credits on fb likes, shares etc. I think there are addmefast imacros that will help you earn automatically credits pretty fast. All of the above are not targeted to a specific group of people, also varies to countries. Plus the methods that are already mentioned, i believe all them combines can get you popular pretty fast
