Trying to start a jewelry ecom brand with $10k

Hello guys i am trying to start a jewelry ecom brand with $10k in budget. I have spent $700 in web designs and logo and want the rest to $4k to go in inventory and $5k in ads on facebook, instagram and tiktok. I have no experience on ads and will hire someone with good rating off of fiverr to do it. What suggestion do you have for me? should i go into it? i heard that its a very competitive business and i will just burn all my money but not sure i really wanna do this thing.
 
What countries do you have in mind to work? I could be interested in this idea if it is within my reach, I have worked with jewelry stores before and I have a few interesting ideas and contacts

Since i am in the united states i only plan to sell in the usa. But i think the expenses would be much more need to hire models, photographers and specially ads.

First of all I would say definitely go for it. With your budget you’ll have plenty to get going.

It’s of course a competitive space. We have been doing Indian jewelry but not online. Try from Etsy since you will compete within Etsy, then try LinkedIn automation where you will follow comment fashion influencer, start on Pinterest along with instagram. These will have slow growth but will be well worth, and the ads will boost everything. You need to find a very tiny niche and expand from there. I am looking into starting on Shine On custom jewelry store.

When you order these product from China DONT!!!
You are targeting a market where a lot of big players, very hard compettiton.

Just mind every one can order the same ( or similar ) product from aliexpress....Even the small guys.
Maybe you get the product 10 - 20% cheaper then others BUT!!! the final consumer dont care that.

When you want to have success in these field:

Work with niche products ( simple no chance against big players and the total amount of players)
Work with products which you need to import by the sea way ( cause with FedEx, UPS ect. every Hill Billy can bring)

Test with ads first... :
Take a small budget like 500usd, make a nice Video Ads and see how many people will react to it.

hello i tried to contact some sellers in china (aliexpress) but i saw found out they are selling the same designs of bigger brands for dirt cheap and if i put those in my website i think its gonna be bad business, do you know how i can overcome this issue? so if not china where do you think i should order my products from?
 
Simple don't do jewelry when you are "not special".
I remember trends like:
Wooden sunglasses, or anchor bracelets.
Then wooden glasses had a cool brand name : woodfellas... BUT i am sure i took a lot of time and $ to establish these brand.
Maybe you can do glasses out of Hemp Material ect...
Need be something special.

Burger cost 13€ pound in UK & it cost 1€ in India

so your only gonna know if the product is working when they are gonna buy right? so when they buy how are you gonna fulfill the delivery in 3 - 4 days?

Take email & Tell them your products on way make sure Your Conversion rate is 2% or 1%
