    Hey All-

I run a music review website - Metrojolt. The site is PR4 and I would really love to monetize it with some text link ads, but I haven't seen much success when registering for 'agencies', AKA I've set up accounts with textlinkbrokers, TLA, authoritybacklinks, linkworth etc. The only company that has sold any textlinks for me is AdBeans. While they gave us a rate of $80 flat (would prefer monthly), but only sold a few links for us and I wasn't very happy working with them. We are posting 1-4 articles a day, ideally I'd like all of those articles to feature one paid link.

-What is the best procedure for selling text link ads? I'm hoping there a holy land of buyers somewhere I'm missing...
-What is a reasonable price to ask for links within our blog posts? Keep in mind we are a respected publication (we are invited to review festivals, given press credentials, exclusive interviews with large scale artists)
-What are some other things I can think about doing to quickly monetize this website?

Thanks for all your advice in advanced!

PS, If any of you want to buy some text links let me know >;-]

Hi, just have some patience. Go through different forums, have some reviews there about website link pricing.....

    1. Use all the major platforms available to you. Some which you haven't mentioned are Teliad and Socialsparks.
    2. If you can, find out what your competitors offer. A few platforms have price checkers, which estimate the value of one link.
    3. Contact possible brands which might be interested in your site on an individual basis. Sometimes it works and never give up :)

    Why sell text links?

If you have a PR4 music site try and rank for amazon keyword related to keywords such as headphones, speakers, microphones. Which shouldn't be too hard for your site.

Selling text links will hurt you SEO-wise IMO. But the great thing is you keep updating regularly with good content.

EDIT: You could, if you wanted to, place some adsense ads in the content not too big but a small banner in the content might raise your adsense earnings.PM me for more advice.
