    Hi everyone!

I'm trying to rank for my new website, lets call it "Extremely Awesome Cars"

I launched the website, made it really awesome and it looks great - the landingpage consists of sliders and all the cool stuff imaginable, at the bottom of the page i have my sort of fail-safe system, a somewhat short sentence containing my niche and the keyword i'm trying to rank for, and in the blog i have my content containing 3 unique articles (hand-written).

All is good so far.. a week ago i made 45 web 2.0's on different platforms all with spun content, very readable and 95% unique containing backlinks to my website, some with the keyword and some with the domain.. fired up GSA, made it tiered (3) and so far i have about 20k backlinks to all of the tiers (no more than 5-10/day to the 1th tier).

On the very first day i put my extremelyawesomecars domain into serpbook and was excited to see if it would rank within a couple of days, even 100+ rankings would make me happy but nothing has happend.

Why is my website not ranking? bare in mind its a brand new domain.

To inpatient? penalty? needs more time? damn, i got no clue.

Brand new site, small amount of content and a niche that may be competitive are all a part of the equation.

No coffee, 5 Hour Energy or Monster drinks for you for a while to make your life easy as it may take some time.

Add more content to that puppy for starters and toss your calender away for a while.

The answer to your question lies within the last sentence of your post.

Google might find it weird that a new website got 45 web2.0's already linking after this short time.

Use a link indexing service to get the links crawled faster so your site will move up the rankings. If after doing this it doesn't budge, your domain might have been penalized before you registered it.

Gosh, such advice. NO, That is not your problem, OP, NOT even close.

New sites take time and ones that are as thin as yours take even longer. If your links are not indexed, shoot them to me and I'll get them indexed for you for free.

Definitely a time factor, try again in 4 to 8 weeks if it has not budged then you might have an problem.

Later on you might want to point a few High PR sites to your money site.

How much content is enough to start ranking?

I agree with BTB lol throw that calendar away man I can't tell you how many times in past would have coffee everyday and check Serpbook nonstop for a brand new site. Give it some time!

If his site isn't moving up, it's either his tier 1 and tier 2 links haven't been indexed or he bought a previously penalized and dropped domain name (I've unknowingly done the same thing in the past) and you know it. So I don't know what the point of your comment is.

The issue is crappy links, go buy some quality links and watch the site rank. I have a new site ranking top 10 for a medium niche keyword with only paid links. So it is entirely possible to rank new sites. Then again I wouldn't be doing mass spam like you are as it takes a ton of time and produces low quality results.

How natural looking is a site's backlink profile made of only web 2.0 links? Or all wordpress PBN links for that matter? Of course gsa spam is out of the question too. The problem for you and many others is that you don't know any other way. Plenty of threads here in the last few week from people complaining that their site won't rank using the exact same back linking strategy as you are OP.

No one has said so I will: could be over optimization. SUPER easy to trip those penalties these days. If your KW's are not that competitive that could be your issue.

Also, I have been reading that people are speculating that new websites just don't rank well in Google for the first couple of months. It could be to stop all the Blast & Spam tactics

I would highly recommend being patient, focusing on creating natural links that develop of time say 3-6 months. If that process is too slow for you then work on more websites than just one a little bit each day

I have a similar problem, I'm ranking 2 websites at the moment and both of them got on page 2(with medium keywords) position between 12-15, and after that they've stop ranking, its been 1-2 weeks sense they got there...what could that be?
one if them is 3 month old and another is 1month old

New site, new domain, emd site, all these take some time for google to index let alone rank well. I see you make a lot of web2.0, but did you make them before your site urls ever got indexed?

For me, a new site I will make sure all posts get index then I will launch my backlinking campaigns not even social signals which many suggested.

Buiod at least 10 to 15 pages of contents and wait for all of them to get index. If your domain is not previously penalized, they will get index. After which then slowly build backlinks, wait for all your backlinks get indexed then move on to another wave of backlinking or social signals.

You're building backlinks too soon, add more content.
