Hey guys, Ive tried vagex and a bunch of other stuff and sure it's gotten me views but that still has translated to zero profit. I see a lot of threads on here screaming for '20k likes' or '20k fake subs' or '50k views' and sure Ive tried my hand in it and even purchased views but it has done nothing but burn my money. sure my videos got 50k fake views but thats it. I have spent about a year doing this and have scraped together about 100 subs. most have come from real life connections, nothing from black hat. I dont see why people on here are even looking for '20k comments' or whatever as I dont see as it helped. I tried adding vagex comments but who cares if you have 20k fake comments on a video. my youtube channel are just comedy vlogs and my goal is to eventually build my fanbase largely and become successful like nigahiga so I can naturally profit off ads. I dont see any other ways to make money since the only other pathway Ive seen suggested on blackhat was stealing other people's videos but thats just gotten me banned on my test channels. 1-2 years of doing this and Im at 100 subs. My last hope is to try and find some bot to add contacts but I cant seem to find any. I see no point in all the 30k fake subscribers like everyone on here is clamoring for. what is the point if none of them will watch my videos when I upload them? It makes no sense for me so Ive tried to grow a group of people who will naturally want to subscribe and its gotten me no where.

Why are you afraid of real work? There's very few one button solutions in the world. Create quality content that people actually like and share it with your friends. Do you see Ryan Higa doing bullshit blackhat SEO? No, he spends that time on making sure what he produces is top notch. If it's good you can get real views via Reddit, Facebook, Twitter and more.

Having said that, if you're still interested in blackhat video SEO, you just gotta do a better job at it. YT's algorithms are becoming more and more complex. The location of your views, the account history of the commenters, the video tags you have, all play an important role.

Ok, OP I agree with you on some things, but for different reasons.
People use Vagex and other free services to help boost rankings + look natural. This is for psychological reasons, if RWJ had 0 subs, most people wouldnt sub to him. But since he has over 1 million subs, people feel more comfortable to sub. With this in mine, the more subs you have, the higher up in the 'food chain' you become. I agree that people who order fake subs are just wasting their money, though sometimes people order 1million+ views and only have 33 subs, so sometimes its or legitimate reasoning.

If you're looking for profit, you need MONETIZABLE views, you need to focus on legitimate marketting if you want to grow a fanbase. You aren't going to gain a real fanbase by using Vagex. But it WILL give your video a boost and a chance to gain more people who may stumble across your video.

Im confused though, you mention money at first, then say you want a legit fanbase? Did you make a youtube account for the fun of it or to entertain people? Once you know the answer to that, you know what to do.

That same kind of goes for views too, people see a video with 100,000's of views and there is a good chance they'll watch it.

Hey, tube toolbox is a tool that will surely help you. I have used it and its great but... no matter what tool you use to boost subs/views etc, you must have quality and original videos to gather success for a channel. Hope that helps.

You did something wrong if it didnt work for you. I would need more details, but I honestly can tell you that your "product" aka video was just bad (using the information you provided). I work with a lot of people who think just like you, but you don't simply just use BHW methods or services to increase your views, you use them for the benefits they will bring you alongside psychology. You had a decent learning experience, now all you need to do now is sort things out.

Quality never let you down. Emphasis on it and you would not need any thing else.

I feel for you williamlaugh. You're starting YouTube at a very difficult time. If you would have started in 2005 like Smosh or 2006-07 like NigaHiga you'd probably have an easier time getting noticed. Both Smosh and NigaHiga have attributed much of their success to this. I've heard Smosh say if they hadn't started when they did they'd probably not be known at all. Ryan has also attributed being Front Paged on YouTube early on to helping kick start his success.

Even though it is more difficult now, there will always be new comers who breakthrough and have a ton of success. Look at PewDiePie; he went from 60k subs to 2.9 million subs in the course of these past 12 months. JennaMarbles went from 45k subs to 4.9 million subs in the past 24 months. Once you have a good collection of quality videos, all you need is one of them to hit big and then all the rest of your videos will gain more views and will turn into real subscribers.

Just stick with it and concentrate on making the best content you can. By best content I don't necessarily mean video or audio quality. You said you do comedy vlogs so you should be spending as much time as possible writing and crafting content that will make people laugh. I too am guilty of spending too much time perusing BlackHat looking for short cuts when I should be creating new content. I'm spending less and less time doing this though as I gain a real following. I now have over 40k real subs plus lot of fake ones.

Unfortunately, I do believe it is a necessary evil to take some short cuts when first starting out though. Otherwise you'll be chasing your tail years on end. As some of the above posts mentioned, having a large number of (fake) subscribers does help you get more subscribers. I notice that when I look at person's channel and see only 100 subs, I'm guilty of thinking "oh this channel must not be very good, it only has 100 subs". If it had 10k subs I'd probably give it more of a chance. I know it sucks that I think this way but I bet most people do, whether they know it or not. Free sites like AddMeFast and YouLikeHits can help you with this.

The same goes for views. If a person clicks into a video with a lot of views, they will be more inclined to assume it is good and stick around a little longer. Vagex and SYV are a couple of free options that can help you with this. There are also numerous view suppliers around. Try to find longer views though. Short views can harm your ranking.

That leads me to SEO. Research as much as you can around here about showing up high in search results. Pay attention to trending topics and do videos about them (as long as you can make good quality content about that topic, don't just do it just because it's popular). One of the keys to success is getting good search engine placement inside of YouTube. If some of your videos can catch a break and show up on the 1st page of results for various searches many people are performing, you'll start earning lots of quality views and subscribers (assuming your content is awesome of course). This is known as Tent Pole event programming. It is talked about in detail in the YouTube Creators Playbook, which by the way, if you haven not read it, you're not taking your YouTube career seriously. It is a must read. Believe it or not, YouTube actually wants you to be successful because the more successful you are, the more money they make. You can read it here: http://www.youtube.com/yt/playbook/index.html

Finally one of the "short cut" tools I think has been most effective has been Tube Toolbox. Buy the lifetime membership as it is a good investment. This tool, unlike all others I am aware of, can generate real views from real people who will leave comments and subscribe to you. Warning though, if your content is not awesome, you will get a lot of dislikes. With this tool, you should be able to send around 1,000 messages a day (sharing your video) to people who have left comments on other similar videos. About 10%-20% of these people will actually watch your video which is about 36k-73k people per year. Not amazing but at least they are real people. Be very careful with this tool as you could get your YouTube account banned. Follow the advice of its creators and read their forums for how you can avoid being banned.

I hope you've found some of this helpful :)

    Finding obstacules is not failure.

    Give up IS failure.

Maybe VSEO is not for you. Maybe your talents and potential is in pure white-hat seo.

    Nothing bad with that.

The reason people buy views are for ranking purposes not to make sales of the views, (not always). People buy likes and comments to grain real peoples trust when they watch the video and it gives them social proof so people are more likely to click on links, complete offers etc. none of these things are direct to making money(once again not always) but rather a facilitator to getting sales. go on here and read every persons journal that uses youtube as a method and read all the youtube methods by searching in google site:blackhatworld.com youtube method
trust me, you can do it.

Maybe you just aren't charismatic/funny/good-looking/well spoken enough to be doing comedy vlogs?

Content aside, you'd need a backdrop, lighting, a high-tier camera, and a sound treated room, otherwise people wont care what's in the vid if it looks like shit and sounds like an echoing mess.

I don't think you understand the point of blackhat methods on youtube. Blackhat methods only work on videos that use youtube as nothing more than an advertising platform. If you actually use YouTube for a "normal" purpose, blackhat techniques will not help you in any way.
