Ok so I got a woman who I am trying to weasel my way in and she is trying to get a new house. The loan officer asked her for verification from the name of her current employer. I need a quick solution for a verifiable number real quick in promotions industry.

She said this is what they said:

Code:
we need to be able to independently verify your business phone number as a landline number registered(using Google, Searchbug or another online source).

If you were to call directory assistance and ask for the name of your employer, what number would they supply you with?

Sounds like a two prone problem because she already gave them the name of her "cough cough" employer...whats the solution for her?

...added rep and thanks for best simple answer:D

okay this is easy, just open an account with att or bellsouth or who ever is in your area, ask them that you would like the number registered under the name of the employer she gave them, very easy, then go to yellowpages . co.m and list the business on there, ITS free and shows up in less then 5 hours .

after once its verified, cancel, You paid no out of pocket expenses, just dont let them talk you into a promotion deal.

I was thinking of something more along the lines of finding an existing number but she said that didn't work...

You cant find an existing number because it has previous history already, that will automatically come up in there system.

i had to create a phony number and bussiness name like the way i explained when i financed my first car. Except they did not have yellowpages online lol (old way much harder)

but if you do it the other way, she can just say the number was changed or something, easy to talk your way in and out of those problems
