Hi! I sincerely hope I'm posting this in the right forum seeing as I'm in a hurry at the moment and didn't have much time to double check everything like I usually do. I'm trying to find a free web host service to move my business website to so that I can then buy a domain name for cheap somewhere else and then stealth forward/redirect or what they call "forward with web masking" the bought domain name to the free website I'm hosting. The webhosting service I'm using right now is just too damn expensive. In fact, the entire paid webhost market itself is too damn expensive.

The kind of website I'm hosting is pretty basic with the only two goals being to inform potential clients about my business and give them a convenient way to contact me using the contact form I have set up on the website. My only requirements (again only two) are that the free web hosting service doesn't fill up my website with ads and that I don't have to worry about getting blindsided by it suddenly being deleted because of fascist admins someday due to inactivity if I ever have to be gone for awhile or if it goes through a slow month every now and then with a lack of visitors.

I usually reach my clients by phone and the #1 reason I need this website is for the occasions they ask for a website(which is rare but not too rare!) I researched web hosts like 000webhost and bytehost, but given the many negative reviews I'm reading they both seem to have major problems with deleting entire websites because of bullshit excuses about inactivity. So if someone could at the very least point me in the right direction - that would be very swell! Happy late holidays and new year everybody! Hope to get a response soon on this dilema. :) I'm just trying to save as much money as I can scrape so I can start out small enough and have more room in the near future to expand my business further using what I earn in addition to whatever money I can save. Thanks!

Surely shared hosting is not "expensive"? You can get a basic hosting plan for unlimited websites for less than 10 bucks a month with most hosting providers, like Hostgator, Bluehost, etc.

And if you select a longer period, then it can get as cheap as about $5-6/month...High school kids could afford that.
