    Hey everyone!
I'm not trying to have my focus and "skillset" spread too thin.

I SUCK when it comes to "getting" traffic.
I can write the content to keep them there, but man getting my material in front of people is the most nauseating feat.

SO I'm starting to go paid methods, and getting into PPC & Bing Ads...

One of the things I found most complicated when making affiliate sites was Keyword Research

There's so many damn products programs and tools and having to learn each one in itself is a pain, and especially using them together.

I'm just looking to run ads so should I just "outsource" KW research or is it going to be necessary to learn myself?

Hope this question is clear enough for a succinct reply.

    Thanks for your time

you should learn it yourself, then outsource it if you want. That way you know if it's any good or not.

But the first step is really ranking for the keywords you have on your site now. You need a site, and targeted articles, see what keywords you rank for, and then tailor that better to what YOU WANT to rank for.

Definitely learn it, you're setting yourself up for failure without it. Maybe use a tool like Market Samurai to help you along the way though.

Start by learning it yourself man trust me once you master it you'll discover long tail keywords that you can convert easily.

I usually use Google Keyword Planner to find good keywords. All you need is 4 or 5 seed keywords to start with.

After that you can outsource it to save you time while you keep cashing in those checks.
