lol @ trump...has -50% chance getting elected for president. Trump is a businessman but running the united states of america..hahaha he files bankruptcy every 2-3 years on some fluke company he owns.

    No Personal Involvement

First, Trump doesn't get personally involved. He knows how to protect his personal finances. In both instances, Trump's corporations have filed for bankruptcy; Trump personally has not. Hence, when his casino fell into about a billion dollars in debt, the corporation filed for Chapter 11. Trump only made the decision to do so once he had spoken to his banks and bondholders. But, by filing, he gave his business the opportunity to regroup and reduce his business debt. It didn't hurt however that it would also reduce his personal debt, as Trump is likely the one every creditor would look to if the Taj Mahal couldn't pay up. So, in fact, Trump avoided potential lawsuits from credits and he may have also avoided personal bankruptcy by keeping his own bank account insulated.

Trump, it appeared, had triumphed. His company had dire financial problems but seemed to rise just as quickly from those bankruptcy ashes. Just three years later, he combined the hotels into the publicly held Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts.

For several years, the new company enjoyed double digit stock prices. His personal fortune in turn also skyrocketed. And the man who came close to losing it all leapt onto Forbes' most wealthy list.

Yet, Trump's public company would eventually fall...again. Within a few years of soaring high prices, the company stock had fallen into single digits. The one-time powerhouse company remained profitless and struggled just to pay the interest on the $2 billion debt. Trump claimed that the properties were unable to make the improvements necessary for keeping up with its flashier competitors. These financial troubles led to Trump's second trip into bankruptcy.

Come to think of it, i don't know if he's qualified to run for president

I'm for Trump!!! Hope he runs... would certainly make things a little more interesting than the "run of the mill" boring elections...

I know a lot of people may disagree, but I think Obama is actually a good president. Although, I would rather have trump tbh, we need someone who knows how to deal with money

Well at least he has THE BALLS to point out that 'obama' is an
illegal alien & ineligible to be President & that the 'real' threat
    to the U.S. is China.

I don't really like/trust Trump, but I respect him bringing these
    issues to the fore...

    LOL @ Green faggot goblin.

You obviously don't know jack shit, Running a country is like running a business, you need to get rid of all the fuck ups, which YOUR country has A LOT of.

understanding how to grease real estate deals is different than fiscal policy. I don't think he has much to offer besides not being BS career politician....but a BS businessman isn't a huge leap forward. I also doubt he's in it for the right reasons.

But I'd be open to hearing ideas from anyone.

I think he has a good chance actually. I'd say a good percentage of people that vote arn't actually voting for a good candidate, they are voting for other reasons, which is why trump has such an advantage. Hes got a well known name and has a shit ton of publicity.

Hate him all you want but remember, dude has money, the country needs money, its a good fit.

The problem with politics is this, no 1 man has all the power..there just puppets not even obama, it;s just a BIG fantasy world everybody running around like we have freedom of choice when voting. The fact of the matter is it's already determine who will be in office but they will make it seem like it's this big election going on, people waking up running to the polls. Cracks me up, congress is prolly laughing at trump like look at this idiot..we will never put him in office, He's not part of the plan simple as that.

Of course the government is corrupt but to say the next president is already pre-determined is a pretty bold statement. Yes, presidency is just a figurehead position but he still holds very important powers (going to war, vetoing)

I don't understand why we still vote for candidate X or candidate Z. In my opinion we should vote for issues and then an algorithm should decide who's president. No more "I'm voting for him because hes black" "I'm voting for him because hes cute"

Seriously though, can't we get someone real in there that wants to make the right choices for the good of the people; too much to ask for. Its like fucking reality TV...

And seriously yes I would take him over Obama.

Trump doesn't know how to deal with money.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump#Financial_problems_.281989.E2.80.931997.29

There is a couple of articles that I have read in the past in business magazines that point out that had Donald Trump simply put all his inheritance (Since you know that is how he got rich) in the bank. He would be worth more now than what he is.

Not that I think it matters where you are born to make you eligible to be president (I don't live in the US), but Trump tried to produce a birth cert and it got proven to be a fake : http://gawker.com/#!5786779/donald-trumps-birth-certificate-proven-to-be-fake
