    Ive heard of someone using bit.ly as a buffer between your money site and where ever a link is located.... is this true????

    Yeah, all you are doing is hiding the original referrer from the network you are pushing. The network sees bit.ly as the referrer.

    Unfortunately, bit.ly does not hide the referrer.

    To be safe, use this tool: hxxp://referer.us/hide-http-referer.html

    You might also consider using a campaign tracking application such as Prosper202; this will hide your referrer in addition to giving you a legitimate excuse for doing so.

    bit.ly is only used to make your link shorter.
    I have noticed however, that my hits are cut when i use this.
    I dont think 100% of my leads from using bit.ly are directed to my url.

    Hey Idlemind, did you refer to the scrapebox backlinking using bit.ly? If so, I´m also interested. I saw a post where a guy said something like this. He´d scrapebox blast using bit.ly. Am I off the tracks here?
