    Hey.

I'm looking for a Twitter bot that can automatically look for keywords based on a users city/location. I would then like to automatically send them a message.

Example: I setup the parameters to follow people in Atlanta, GA that discuss; food, eating, dinner. Once someone in Atlanta, GA mentions either of those words, my account tweets them, "Hey, you may be interested in our restaurant, link."

Which program can do this? If this doesn't exist and someone wants to develop it, that would be great and I can help you test.

    Thanks.

Not sure if this helps - but the title should say "Twitter" and not "Tritter".

Me too. could make me a ton'o cash. been a while since the auto RT thing worked in twitter. In theory you just need to figure out how to rape the twitter public timeline again. But alas, I can only find one that updates every _ minutes and is just random bullshit; allot less useful that it used to be. Can try using custom search parameters on ghost accounts just for search functions only, and feed them into RSS, and autopost to marketing account maybe?

It sounds like you are on to something. Use fake accounts to pull data. I would want the tweets to come from my valid account (if possible). If that proves to be a problem, I could also tweet a URL using the fake account and send to the money site.

The Weather Channel app does something like this. If you open it, you will see that it shows all of the tweets in your area that talk about weather.

    So it will pull..

    It's raining
    It's cold
    You have a cold heart
    When will it snow
I like the music group snow bird

Most are pretty accurate. I'm sure they have some rules built in to avoid pulling every phrase.

I think this might be the "closest" commercial thing to do what you're describin: tweetadder . com It's probably worth noting it might be more handy (since twitter is trivial to automate...) to have your own custom bot built by some guy on those coding boards. Also you were mentioning tweeting links from your main account: do it only if you have an aged, reputable account and respecting a fair rate or you're gonna inevitably get banned.
