    What I did:
    1. Promote products on a poorly maintained tech blog which gets 120 views/day. 1 sale last month and that's it (Make money online software product).
Tried to scale it up this month promoting many products, 0 Sales :(
    2. Started a blogspot blog and promoted: 29 hops. No sale. Around 30 views/day, but from direct Organic search. Fully targetted traffic. Health niche.
    3. Promote female health product on Youtube. 20 hops. No sale.

I saw here that Patkaa is promoting by commenting on blog posts.
Which blogs to comment on? All most all blogs are comment moderated.

Any other way to promote? (without using Bing Ads, as I can't invest anymore for IM)
Sorry for the total n00b question. I tried a lot spending countless hours, but no success. So resorted to asking BHW.

Where were your visitors coming from (i.e. country)?
Were the products matched with the blog contents?
What is your bounce rate like?

30 views per day for a month (900 views total) which resulted in 29 hops is a CTR of 3%, which is very low.
Did you have a good call to action in place?
Did you have both a text link and a banner link?
Your organic traffic - was it coming from buyer keywords or non-buyer keywords (what type of keywords were you ranking in the SERPS)?

20 hops from how many views?
Did you have a call to action in the video and a link directly under the video?
Is the video ranking in google?

    Mancar

    Woah, thanks!

Visitors for tech blog from USA. Promoted product by recommending it for making money online in a blog post.
Youtube: 280 views. Gave call to action. Link in description using tinyurl.

I'll try answering the other questions myself and see what I'm doing wrong.
Any other way to promote except Ads? These methods aren't working for me.

    I'm in the same boat

Promoting weight destroyer in my weight loss blog and posting youtube and forums links to my blog and straight up affiliate links. Had 120 hops so far and no sales, I think it might be the product.

Most click bank products I would never think about buying, they're so obviously full of crap yet if you believe the stats they do convert.

I haven't even tried ppc ads because I know that would be like throwing money in the trash.

Clickank works with PPC but just like with anything else, you really need to do a lot of testing. Additionally, you need to set aside a test budget. If you're new then this could be in the $xxxx range...

"Tried Clickbank for 1 whole month".....and therein lies your problem. 1 month is nothing. Keep persevering and trying different strategies.

But I've seen many others here on BHW who start out and make their first sale easily within a couple of weeks and they almost double their earnings week after week.
I'm totally clueless as to why I'm struggling so much.

Think about it logically, with clickbank, you are selling solutions to problems. Someone is fat, you sell them the solution. Someone has a medical condition, you sell them a magic cure.

It takes extreme targeted traffic to sell these kinds of products. Not just anybody wants to buy this, only someone who really has the problem bad.

You don't just want to sell to a fat person, you have to sell the a fat person who is motivated to get skinny. It's even more targeted than it seems.

How do you target the traffic? A lot of research and testing.

Well known fact, if you haven't mastered something in one month, then you should give up and never attempt it again.

Obviously I am joking and you shouldn't compare yourself to other people as there are many factors which contribute to success with CB. Also a number of those threads are by confirmed bullshitters (nishat).

Read the threads by mancar487 and check the Journey section for inspiration.

I would also suggest to do a research about how to "warm" visitors up before sending them to vendor. It called pre-sell / presell / pre-selling.

Your sample size is very low to begin with. 900 visitors and 3% hops is way too low to think "it's not working".

Do yourself a favour and do this for 3 days, I guarantee you will get more visitors than you did in the last month:

Get yourself a fake facebook account. Make sure you have privacy settings correct on it and maybe get 10-20 fake friends added.

Think of a catchy, 3-line ad with a link to your site. Something like "I cured my problem/lost 2 stone/made a ton of cash with the xyz system - see mysitedotcom for more details" is ok, but with imagination you could come up with something with "clickability".

Then, open up your browser and go to the G homepage. Enter a keyword/phrase in your niche, something broad like "make money online" to get the maximum amount of results. Then, filter them to the last 24 hours results. Just use search tools/any time--> past 24 hours.

You should get hundreds of NEW results.

Open each web article in a new tab, you should have at least 30 pages of results to comment on. Open up all the results on page 1 in new tabs, paste your comment where you can, then move to page 2,3,4 etc and do the same.

Then switch to the "news" tab and do the same.

Then, do the same but with "Your keyword phrase" site:facebookdotcom as a search query, and paste your comment in every link or feed on FB that you can.

You can easily target your traffic to the people who are most likely to buy a product you promote if you think about it.

If, after 3 days you don't get a sale, your landing page is most likely crap and needs redesigning.

If so, redesign, and repeat the process.

This is how I started making money online, kudos to Meathead1234 for the method here:

If that's the case, I guess Amazon are screwed too.

Don't believe everything you read without doing your own research. CB will continue to make more and more money, and sales will increase for years to come.

Even if CB sales decrease 20%, that will still mean there is a 2.4 billion $ industry to take a chunk out of.

I do agree with you. I was very easy to make a good money in the past. I believe people got tired of being charged 100 bucks for a PDF file. A few years ago, 300 - 400 hops from social traffic was enough to make a sale. Actually I am seeing crazy numbers like 4.000 hops / sale ( and even higher).

I love clickbank as the always paid on time, no tricks, no questions, no ban the day before sending the payment.

Personally , I am not quitting CB at all, because there is still money to be made but I know It won´t last very long.

Well , this is internet, where nothing last forever.

A lot of people lie their ass off.

Are you using a custom landing page or direct linking, and in all that time what did you tweak to see if it help conversions?
